6 4K FPV Action Camera, Mini HD Video Cam with WiFi EIS&GyroFlow HDMI PWM Supported for RC Plane Airplane Rocket RC Car FPV Drone Airsoft Outdoor Sports-Option 1

I use my Rumcam 4K as a hatcam for recording my flights. The video is crisp, clear, and has a good color palette. I like that I can pick my level of field of view in the app. I like the narrow view to get the best close up view. It works great after you get the camera adjusted to record just where you look. I like the fact that they give you a connector with wires to set it up as an FPV camera too. Also the included tray with tripod nut made for an easy installation. Having the WiFi is awesome too. The only downside is that I would like to be able to select my FOV manually out at the flying field without getting into the app.

This camera is absolutely great. It can record in 1080 @120fps, 2k @60fps, or 4k @30fps (and it can do 30/60 fps for 1080 and 2k). The battery lasted long enough for me to leave it recording for nearly 30 minutes at 2k @60fps. It will auto-segment videos if they exceed a certain length (appears to be about 8:30 for 2k @60fps). It was able to survive being launched aboard my rocket to 6,000' and landing quite hard at nearly 45 mph so it's quite durable. One thing to note was my camera had worked great on arrival but after I left it to sit for about 3 months it refused to work again. I may have simply had a defective unit but their customer support was very helpful. They gave me instructions on how to attempt to fix the camera and ended up sending me a brand new one as I could not get the broken one to turn back on. Overall a great experience and a great camera!

I like this camera very much except for the battery. It will not hold a charge more than 15 minutes and it gets hot. My iPhone loses WiFi signal after one minute while I'm right next to the camera. Then it will not stop recording so I have to pull the battery to get it to stop recording. Sometime the forced stop works by pushing both buttons at the same time but sometimes it doesn't work. I think I have a defective battery as the charging time is very short, less than 30 minutes. The video quality is excellent, even on 1080x60fps setting. I use it to record my HO scale trains and mount the camera on a flat car. It's small size is enough go even pass through the tunnels without issues.

This camera has great potential, and when it works the video is excellent. Unfortunately I have ordered three and two fail. On both of them you power it up, start a recording (either with the top panel button or via the nice WiFi app) and the camera stops the recording all by itself after 4-6 seconds. Subsequent recording starts might or might not work. I reached out to Support and I have tried updating the firmware, and multiple U3 rated memory cards, no improvement. One works fine, the other two are being returned. When they get this sorted out it will be a great little camera. Added 10/3: If you want reliable video from the on-camera buttons, using firmware 1.2.0 Do this: Power on camera (3 beeps) After a few seconds hit the large button to start video capture ( you will hear one beep). After 2-3 seconds hit the large button again (2 beeps). The next time you hit the large button it will capture video for as long as you need it to, reliably. If you do not go through this procedure your video capture will fail after a few seconds, and you will have no audio indication it has failed.

I am absolutely thrilled with this camera. I bought it to make Hot Wheels track video as an alternative to the GoPro session which has been hard to find. It has worked flawlessly. An unexpected bonus was that recording in 120 fps results in really clear slow motion when editing in iMovie. My next use for the camera was to replace the camera on my VIVITAR skeyview drone. As a drone camera the standalone WiFi doesn’t have the range to act as an FPV. However it comes with the wires needed to hook up to an FPV transmitter. I did not buy the recommended micro SD, however I made sure to buy a U3 micro SD. This probably saved me from the recording problems that have plagued other users. I am using a scandisk 64gb U3 micro SD. I bought it at target because I didn’t want to wait for it.

UPDATE 18 MAY 2021: After going back and forth for hours in an idiotic email exchange with customer service, they are refusing to replace this camera. They insist it must be an SD Card problem even though I am using the SD card they suggest and have tried multiple SD Cards now. The fact that you can get it to work by going through a crazy start-stop-start again sequence suggests it is not the card and is the camera, but they did not listen. Downgrading my rating to 1-star for abysmal customer service. This is basically money down the drain. I have to agree with a previous reviewer. This camera is not ready for prime time. Out of the box, it just didn't want to record video for more than about 10 seconds. I wasted two days of rocket launching thinking it was recording and I got exactly 0.0 video. After reading the other reviewer's suggestion to start recording, stop recording, then immediately start recording again, that method worked. Sounds idiotic, but it works. WiFi connection with my Pixel 3 flat out doesn't work. Most times, it just won't connect. When it does, the camera crashes after you start recording video. App crashes constantly. On iOS, the situation for me is better. On my iPad, it can maintain the WiFi connection and doesn't crash the camera, but you still have to do the start-stop-start again trick or the video just stops recording after 10 seconds. The quality of the picture is good, but when a device fails its primary function without resorting to an inane sequence, something is very wrong. The fact that you can't just push the "Record" button and have it work is a serious issue.

thought I could do a Mic mod to fix the audio but they went to a SMD mic that's pretty much impossible to work with, if RunCam would spend the extra10¢ on decent microphone this could be a GoPro killer( Hero4 and older)

SONYやinsta360やDJIも持っていますが、光学手ブレ補正となると一気に高額になります。そういうの要らないし小型で軽量でもっとカジュアルに遊べる熱停止せず壊れないカメラでピッタリだったのがこのRunCam6でした。4K画質は申し分なくコスパ良すぎます。願わくばカメラのセンサー、画質はそのままキープコンセプトで、次期型は5Ghzだけ追加対応してくれるともう神です。前モデルRunCam2 4Kから気に入って使ってます。

レンズ周りに関して、交換部品が豊富です。 私はレンズを交換し、ガンカメラであるAS35同等品にしました。 画質については新しいScopecamには一歩及びませんが、コンパクトな為、スコープ前にマウントしても邪魔にならず、大変満足です。 以前、wifiが動かなかったり録画出来なかったり、熱暴走する個体に当たりましたが、この個体は「当たり」でした。

Excellent delivery. Good camera with nice and easy settings via Wifi. The only problem I had was that the lens of the camera came out-of-focus for medium and long distances (I found similar issues reported in Internet). It can be fixed but it is not easy since the lens comes attached to the camera body with a hard glue and to adjust the focus the glue needs to be removed at least partially. Look at Internet for hints on how to do it.
