I had a complicated molar tooth extraction requiring an oral surgeon. A bit of my jawbone was left sticking out the gum and caused pain as bad as the original toothache. My dentist ground the bone down to gum level which helped but my whole extraction site was still very tender and sore.I had got to the stage I was willing to try almost anything and even though I thought this is expensive for a small bottle I was so desperate I bought it. It arrived the next day as promised.The relief was instant, and my gum felt better and looked less inflamed after a few days.If I ever need another extraction I will definitely buy another bottle of this for aftercare.

I bought Gengigel after my hygienist recommended it for gum irritation, and it’s honestly made a big difference. Within a few days my gums felt much less sore and sensitive, and brushing no longer made them bleed. The gel-like mouthwash has a mild, clean taste — not harsh like many medicated rinses — and it leaves my mouth feeling fresh without any burning.It’s gentle but clearly effective, and I like that it supports healing rather than just masking the problem. A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts ages. Definitely a staple in my routine now.Purchased myself — this is my genuine experience after consistent use.

My dentist recommended this to me about 15 years ago. I used it for a good few years then was unable to purchase directly from him when he retired and so stopped using it. I bought it recently to help heal my gum after a very uncomfortable tooth extraction. It helped with the pain and i feel it helped it to heal more swiftly once waiting for a few days for the area to be safe to swish. Do read the instructions as it is important not to have anything to eat or drink for 20-30 minutes after using it and don't be tempted to rinse either. It is quite a strong tasting mouthwash gel but not unduly unpleasant and doesn't leave too much of a funny taste afterward, it soon dissipates. However, I found using it at night much preferable to the morning regime. It is quite pricey for the size of the bottle but you're only using a small amount...and another reason I tend to only use at night is in order to make it last longer. The manufacturer states at least twice a day but at this rate you would be using a bottle a week easily which would prove very costly. I personally wouldn't purchase unless you specifically need it for the dental reasons stated on the blurb as you can achieve great things with warm salt water too.

For many months this product has been the difference between gums that are inflamed, painful, shrinking....and not. Even using half the recommended amount and pushing it to area(s) most effective has proven to be a marvel. I don't use it as a general mouthwash - I use Corsodyl Advanced (the one with Hyaluronic Acid) for my regular oral rinse. This is reserved for set 'medication' times coupled with the Oral Gel. I have both on a 2-monthly Subscribe and Save.

Expensive for what it is, won't buy it again

Dislike taste. But appears to be helping.

This is an excellent product that I became acquainted with in the UK. I don't think it is sold in the U.S. However, it heals the gums, has a pleasant taste, and isn't a regular mouthwash. It is more of a product that heals the gums. I found it to be a great product for me as a former cancer survivor who has a tendency to get thrush, dry mouth, and other oral problems due to residual effects from chemotherapy and other medications. There is another product (can't remember the name of it) that other people recommended to me for my oral problems that is often taken by chemo patients, but I never liked it and especially disliked its tastelessness (the other product). This product is much better. I believe this product is probably also helpful for people with things like gingivitis.
