Excellent plecs
Wonderful shaped and pointed edge. Just wish Dan would produce these in a mini size, but if you are looking to change plecs to a bevelled shape and you give yourself time to get to grips with a shaper edge, you can't do better then these. The material offers almost zero resistance against the strings, try the little green minis if you prefer the mini size, also fabulous plecs.

My new favourite pick
The most similar picks to these that I've used are made by Gravity. I really like them, but I can't quite bring myself to fork out for what multipacks cost (in the UK). I was gutted when I ran over my last one with the wheel of my desk chair. These appear to be made from a comparable material but have a very grippy, raised pattern. Fantastic design.

Perfect alternative to Ultem/Ultex.
Can't get past the fact that the original version was Nylon? Well you should, because I can't stand nylon picks and I loved Precision originals. But IF you can't, as a player who favours Ultem picks (before finding Precision), these Polycarb variants are functionally indistinguishable. They feel and sound like any given Ultem pick variant I own. They're now my primary pick.

Not bad though.
They seem great in the pics but they’re a bit too plasticky and the letters are popping out slightly too much for my liking.

Not bad, just not for me
I was unsure what star rating to give. The product is well made, it is just not for me as pick feel is subjective. It is the feel of the plastic that I do not like. They are virtually all a form of plastic but these feel like plastic if that makes any sense. I will add the positive that they are hard wearing. Chugging on my favoured Elixir strings grinds my plectrums down in a single afternoon with some brands, but not these. Overall I will say that these are good value and no doubt very good for many players. Although not for me, these are certainly good enough to take a punt and try if anybody is on the fence deciding - after all finding our favourite picks is a game of trial and error.

I own many picks and like trying out new gear. Also more expensive stuff like BlueChip, Wegen, Gravity, ChickenPicks... The original Precision Pick of Dan's Guitar Store is made out of nylon and has a bit of flex to it. It's a good allrounder, but most of the time I like a more rigid feel. The smaller variation called Mini is stiffer and has a different (and in my opinion superior) bevel. Now the new Polycarbonate Precision Premium in transparent blue enters the arena... and for me checks all the boxes. Now I can totally agree with their term "precision pick". Combining the size of a Jazz XL with the harder material (no flex at all) and adopting the faster bevel from the mini pick is a clear win! The original nylon picks are very very lightweight, but for me it seems less tiring playing with the polycarbonate picks. It's a perfectly balanced pick somewhere between a Jazz XL and a more fluid Flow pick. I really like Dunlop Flow picks, but they can sound pretty dull above 1,5 mm and the tip wears down pretty fast. Although the Precision Pick Premium comes with 2mm thickness, it sounds brighter with more attack than a 2mm Flow, because of the different bevel. The sharp tip lasts much longer, still the pick glides easily through the strings and works great for tremolo picking,... It's my favourite pick atm. When I want a bit more flex and dig in harder the neon yellow Tapered Pricision Pick is great too. I can control the amount of flexibilty by moving the fingers closer to the tip or playing more with the sides of the pick. Very interesting and fun, but the blue Premium pick is more effortless to play for me.

They have a nice tone, they feel fast. My current pic choice.
