Power Plus Deep Cleaning Toilet Tablets, Original, 6 Tablets, Deep Clean Without Scrubbing, Removes 100% Limescale, Toilet Cleaner

My tenant left the bathroom in quite the state when he moved out, including calcified black marks all over the toilet bowl, mostly under the water line. 🤢 I know from midterm inspections that he more or less never cleaned the toilet in the 18 months he lived there. I tried regular bleach and Viakal and scrubbed like mad -and while there was some improvement, it was still disgusting. I genuinely thought the bowl was permanently damaged. Chat GPT recommended these tablets and OMG - the results were incredible. I popped a tablet into the toilet, went out for 3 hrs to run errands, and returned to give it another scrub. Annoyingly the water was deep blue from the product so I couldn’t see where I was scrubbing and what effect it was having. I did my best, flushed the toilet, and to my amazement 97% of the marks were gone! The next day I popped in a second tablet, left it another 3-4 hours, and now 99.5% of th marks were gone. I used a pumice stone to scrub off the last bits and now the bowl looks as good as new. 🤩 Can’t believe I was this many years old before I discovered this product. In fairness, I’ve never needed a strong toilet cleaner like this before 😂

We have a Closomat toilet which we have been told (by their installer) not to use bleach based cleaning products in. Limescale still builds up in the toilet bowl and gets discoloured and was infuriating me because none of the "non-bleach" products I tried were up to the task. In the end, I threw caution to the wind and took a punt with these Harpic Power Plus Deep Cleaning Toilet Tablets. If I throw one in the loo at night and let it stand overnight then flush first thing in the morning they do help to reduce the limescale and staining in the loo. That's the best I could ask for and the Closomat installer who does the annual check hasn't complained about any damage to the mechanicals inside the toilet bowl so this product must be safe. They're not instant or perfect but they are better than nothing!

I fitted my toilet about thirty years ago, and have tried many blue and green cleaning products during that time. Despite my best efforts, there remained a thick build up of brown limescale, which had defied all attempts at removing it. I am looking to sell my house soon, and this was definitely not a plus point for potential buyers. It just looked disgusting. I tried pouring a pint of white vinegar in, last thing every night, and this, combined with extensive scrubbing with a toilet brush, reduced the build up quite a bit, over the course of several weeks. However, the stubborn, dirty, brown limescale remained. You can only reach so far with a brush, and the part of the u-bend beyond its reach was still visible, and very unsightly. In desperation, I had almost resigned myself to replacing the toilet completely, but fortunately I discovered Harpic Power Plus Deep Cleaning Toilet Tablets. The advert said "Deep Clean Without Scrubbing, Removes 100% Limescale", and the product only costs a couple of quid, so I gave it a go. I put a tablet in before I went to bed, and to my astonishment, in the morning, there was a marked and very substantial reduction. As you drop the tablet into the very bottom of the bowl, bubbles rise up around the bend as well as in the front, so it doesn't just clean the bits you can see. I used them every night for a week, and the result was amazing. ALL the scale and staining has gone, and the bowl is as bright and sparkly as new. Now I only need to use the tablets once a week or less, to keep it looking fresh and clean. I just wish I'd discovered them sooner, and saved all that scrubbing. Does exactly what it says, and so much cheaper than replacing the toilet!

I wanted a product that would remove some heavy limescale build up from a WC pan. Given the claim on the 100% effectiveness on limescale I opted for this product as I am aware of Harpic as a well known toilet brand. You get x6 tablets for a very fair price which I found to be cheaper than the highstreet prices so certainly good value for money. The product fizzes quite quickly and works its magical gradually. For best results and maximum performance I suggest x2 tablets left in the WC pan overnight. The tablets are incredibly easy to use, just remove from the packet and drop into the toilet. The following morning my WC bowl was much cleaner. The product had removed most of the dirt and limescale although some thicker patches did remain. The product has a nice clean but subtle smell without being overwhelmingly strong. I would be happy to recommend.
