This solar bug zapper works surprisingly well. Also easy to clean. Very durable. I put it outside near my porch, and within the first few nights I could already see it catching mosquitoes, gnats, and other flying bugs. I love that it’s solar powered, so there’s no need for cords or constantly replacing batteries. It’s easy to set up, charges during the day, and automatically comes on at night. The 4500V zapper is definitely effective, and it’s helped make spending time outside much more enjoyable. Its a great little bug zapper that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Glad I bought it.

We have been really impressed with how many bugs this kills each evening. It is solely charged by solar for our home which is great. It is easy to clean and was easy to put together. I would recommend for anyone struggling with any type of Nighttime insect pest

It’s been a month and worth it. Plug it in for all day or let the solar do its thing, it charges itself, darkness comes and I can hear the popping of bugs. A definite buy for bug zapper

⭐☆☆☆☆ – Misleading “Waterproof” Claims and Poor Durability I purchased two of these bug zappers because I wanted something higher quality than the cheaper alternatives. Unfortunately, both units failed after a relatively short period of use. One of the main reasons I chose this product was because it is advertised as waterproof and the product images even show the unit being rinsed off with a garden hose. Following those instructions turned out to be a mistake. The metal grids in front of the lights—the very components responsible for zapping mosquitoes and bugs—have completely rusted out on both units. As a result, neither zapper is effective anymore. If a product is marketed as waterproof and safe to rinse clean, it should be built with materials that can withstand normal outdoor exposure and occasional washing. Instead, the critical components corroded and became unusable. I expected better quality for the price and specifically avoided the cheaper options because I thought I was investing in a more durable product. In reality, I would have been better off saving my money. Very disappointed with the longevity and the misleading waterproof advertising. Would not purchase again.

Solid equipment doing the job for which it was made. Placed on the front patio to help combat the mosquitos. It does have solar for power support but it requires the electric power connection to be in service overnight.

Works very well at night, it doesn’t advertise to work well during the day, and it states that, but when I come out in the morning, it’s full of bugs. I have it by my duck pen

finally put this up and if the pile of bugs under it are any indication of effectiveness, this thing works great. They aren't that big so order another for the other side of the back yard and one for the porch. I can't say how long they stay on, but i have it set to auto (dusk to dawn) came on around 8:30 pm and was still one when i took the dog out at 2 am
