Maxlite 5 Rolling Garment Bag

This carry on is awesome! It’s a bit expensive but you can’t beat it for business travel. 3 full suits, 1 sport coat & 4 dress shirts + toiletries all fit into this carry on! For reference I’m between 5’9”-5’10” and 205 lbs. so my clothes aren’t small either. I didn’t need to check a bag which meant in and out of airport much faster and I didn’t have to worry about expensing a baggage fee later on. Double win. The clothes were in decent shape-admittedly they would have been in better shape if I didn’t pack it to the brim for a week long conference. But a little light steaming and hanging the suits in the hotel closet and they were in great shape. The straps inside to keep the clothes in place are very well positioned and work great. The interior pockets are great for toiletries. The wheels not being 360 degrees can be a hassle because it forces you to carry the bag up and down the aisle on the plane. That’s the only thing I would change about it if I could. Overall, extremely satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend for business travel.

I was skeptical when I bought this. I am 5'4", so a little shorter than average. This fit 2 full suits, 3 shirts, shoes, ties, (2) laptop chargers and it was still pretty light to walk around the airport with. When I arrived at my destination there was not a single wrinkle in any of my clothes, and I don't want to forget that it actually fit in the plane's overhead compartment. I wish I had overcome my skepticism a long time ago and bought one of these. I am not sure how it would work out for someone who is much taller than me because my suits are 38 short and I had to do a little folder over on the bottom of the suit because it was a little too big for the case. But again, no wrinkles, easy to transport, meets airport carry on requirements, and it really does seem durable (but I also take care of the things I buy). I do recommend this.

This is a bag for road warriors. Minimalist packers who want the garment bag to have some hanging clothes on a short 2-3 day trip. You are going to wear the one pair of shoes for the trip and have a small shaving or make-up kit. If you are the “I’ll throw that in too” traveler, this isn’t for you. The quality is average. I stuffed it pretty full and the zippers held but I don’t think that will last forever. The one direction wheels are limiting as far as ease of use. Still 4 stars is still good and functional. I don’t regret the purchase. I will just be realistic about when and how to use it.

Loved everything about this suitcase, the only “but” glitch for me was it was 2” too wide for airline specified carry~on size…and I was not willing to take a chance that it being my carry~on with all my important things I did not wish to check, I would get tagged. Unfortunately I had to return it. If they ever make it to airline specifications one would be mine and one would be gifted to everyone in my family for a present I liked that much!

Bag is large enough for a weekend away with plenty of room for dresses, shoes, toiletries etc. Clothes arrived in pretty good shape. Oddly enough suitcase doesn't come with a hanging chain so you cant hang it unless you make one yourself and even then theres no slit in the top so its awkward. Zipping up the sides is difficult and the bag is to wide to wheel down the isle of a 737 so I had to carry it. Fits nicely in the overhead.

Bought this to improve upon my last carry-on, as I was tired of massively wrinkled suits. The reviews are true: you can fit a huge amount of clothing in this bag. My first trip included one full suit, two pairs of pants, and three long-sleeved dress shirts, with all the usual undershirts, workout clothes, sundries and such, and a pair of dress shoes. For my size, a stout 6', the tails of my shirts and suit jackets did fold up, but various straps and covers provided meant that any wrinkles were not creases, and they hung-out easily on arrival, or with just slight bit of ironing work. Plenty of pockets and a very sturdy handle. The only thing I had to get used to was having only two wheels to work with while rolling, but that's easy. And it fits nicely in both United and AA baggage sizers with no issue, even fully loaded. No problems traveling with it as a carry-on though multiple domestic or international flights I've taken with it. Update from Jan 2020: I've flown with this as carry-on on all major US domestic carriers and Hawaiian Air, plus United international, Emirates, Jet Airways, Air India, Vistara, Spice Jet, ANA, Avianca and Singapore. Only Emirates hassled me a bit but it was over the weight of what I packed not the size.

We purchased this for a bus trip in which we needed to bring a 2-piece suit, a ladies jacket, and a few button down shirts that we didn't want to have to iron. It didn't matter if it was in the luggage one day or 3 days, the arms of all items needed to be ironed, and the bottoms of them. I really wanted it to work, so I tried various ways of packing them - the padded bar in the middle was not helpful in keeping them straightened out. So iron I did - every time we needed to wear them. It was handy to be able to roll it, and has nice storage on the outside. The storage on the inside is awkward, unless it is for very light things. The inside is zippered shut after placing the clothes in the hanging area, and two of the storage pockets are zippered pockets on the inside of that - which to me seems like it would compound the wrinkling. We only used one for handkerchiefs. I will probably never use this again, and unfortunately, it is past the date of returning by a month, as we just got back from that trip.

Great looking. Strong zippers and seams, clearly well put together for the rugged and constant travel set. However, at the end of the day, it can only be used as a garment bag and not for both garments and standard packing like I need. Also, for what it holds it’s really just too big.

Purchased for overnight trips where a business suit and shirt are required. No need for ironing. Trolley format makes this an excellent bag.

Delivered with scratches on the plastic foot stand. Some of the threads are not done properly. In any case a good product that has unique purpose.

Very premium quality case. But beware, you cannot add more than a couple of days of clothes to this after the one (maybe two) suits.
