What is the clearance (thickness) when the piece is in its "flat" position? I'm surprised they don't specify this...

It clearly states 0.32" thick when collapsed in the specifications. Just read the item description.

hello, is it possible to remove them from the glasss after you place them without having the glass damaged?

Yes it is just a strong tape that holds them in place. use a razor blade to lift the edge up. use rubbing alcohol to clean any leftover residue.

hello, is it possible to remove them from the glasss after you place them without having the glass damaged?

That's what the information on the package says but I haven't tried to remove it. It does work as advertised. It is just adhesive tape on the glass so I assume it would come off without any damage to the glass.

Are these easy to remove? i am thinking on getting this for a trip and use in a vrbo for a week but take them off afterwards. thanks

No. They are hard to remove and even then you have to get the glue off with gasoline or something similar.
