Celebrating over 25 years of ministry, Higher Ground is surely a voice echoing the heart of God throughout the land. Their mission continues to call the Church up to a higher level in pursuit of excellence unto God. Songwriters, teachers, ministers, artists and clinicians make up the areas of forte for this multi-faceted trio of men. Leader Wayne Hilliard, along with Eddie Combs and Scott Frazier, project a prophetic tone in their songs, as well as their teaching and training sessions. Whether a single service or a series of meetings with these ministers, their focus intensely accentuates praise and worship - the Song of the Lord rings clear and opportunity to release the present truth unto this generation is always practiced. Known for songs such as, 'I Am,' 'I Will Praise Thee,' 'Up We Will Go Up,' and 'Your Name Is As Ointment' (all performed and recorded by Christ Church Choir, as well as various other artists), Higher Ground's focus in songwriting is to The Church. Songs are continually produced with the same spiritual edge. Their recent recordings, 'The Finisher Of Faith' well represents this anointed trio.
