Works great in my K24 swapped 2002 RSX
I have a K24A swapped engine in my 2002 Acura RSX 5 speed. Its not making any serious power, about 200hp to the wheels and about 170 lb ft torque. Stock exhaust with a cat. You can use the Type-S clutch kits as long as the flywheel is also for the Type-S. I've gone through several different "1.5 stage" thinking the OEM rated clutches wouldn't handle the additional torque from the K24. Unfortunately I've had bad luck with many of these 1.5 stage clutches where the springs on the clutch pack would randomly break after 15-20k miles. I'm not one to dump the clutch and do a burn out but I do drive the car spiritedly. Another issue I've had with the 1.5 stage clutches is the chattering noise. It goes away when I depress the clutch, and comes back if I release the clutch at idle. This clutch kit has none of those issues. The clutch is very soft, just like OEM when I had the K20A3 on the car, perfect for a daily driver. Clutch makes zero noise during engagement. I've put around 5k miles on the clutch so far and it's held up just fine. Break in period was about 300-500 miles. I did replace with a Honda throw out bearing and used Honda High Temp Urea grease on the appropriate clutch parts. I'm very happy with the clutch, I'll reply back and edit the review when/if it fails.

Great clutch kit
Great clutch kit for my 2002 Acura RSX. my throw out bearing blew up and I needed something reliable as I didn't want to cheap out but also not spend $500+ on a factory kit. I understand why people rave about exedy's clutch kits, it almost feels like an OEM clutch. Only thing I will be concerned about is the throw out bearing and how long it will hold up but hopefully a few years that way I don't have to spend 6-8 hours installing a clutch right away

Fit like a dream
This clutch fit my 2008 Honda Civic Si with no problem. The issue we had was not the clutch or the part. The issue was the fact that after we tackled the install in my driveway, which took 24 hours in sections, was that when we were putting it back together, we did not insert the driver side cv axle all the way. This caused the splines to rip off the axle thankfully and not the trans. BE SURE TO MAKE DAMN SURE THE AXLES ARE COMPLETELY SEATED upon reassembly. This caused us to not be sure what happened and thought we installed something incorrectly and we tore it all apart again because the car would not move after a horrendous grinding sound. Only to find that THAT was the issue. (facepalm) This install is not for the weak or inattentive. Luckily I had a mechanic help me! Otherwise the cost was going to be 1300.00 and that is just stupid. Check out YouTube to find a how to video. There are a couple on there and that was what we used. I'm going to be honest, this was not fun. Mostly because we didn't know what the heck we were doing! This is dangerous install so PLEASE USE jacks, jackstands etc. We ended up using 2 jacks, and 4 jack stands. Change your trans fluid while it's out, it's much easier! Good luck know it is recommended to also replace the flywheel while you're there! If you don't then you will end up doing it again because of slippage.

Great clutch for price and quality!
Great clutch replacement. Clutch feels soft but very easy to learn. It's not hard on the transmission at all. Allows for crisp shifting for great daily driver usage. I used a brand new Honda throw out bearing however. The one included I didn't trust. Overall it's a great purchase and the price is unbeatable!

Original equipment
This isn't just an OE replacement, It's identical right down to the winged shield logo with the DK stamped into the pressure plate. The only thing missing from the new part was the Honda part number stamped on the original. The parent company, Dakin, supplies the Japanese manufactures so this is the perfect replacement for the original clutch in my 02 RSX Type-S. I've got almost 1000 miles on the clutch with absolutely ZERO problems. No chatter, no grabbing, no nothing. It's exactly as the car was when I picked it up at the dealer in August of 2001. After five years and 30,000 miles, it's still working great. Here we are nine years later and it's still working perfectly. Granted I don't put a ton of miles on the car as I'm retired. Out of curiosity today I went to the Honda/Acura web site to see what they charge for the parts in this kit. Clutch Disc - $413.82 Clutch Cover/Pressure Plate - $304.65 Pilot Bushing - $6.87 This kit is a gift compared to what you'd pay at the dealer and as mentioned above in my original post, it's not just like the original, it's identical. Exedy's parent company supplies Honda/Acura with these parts.

Clutch works great for 2002 RSX-S
I bought this as a replacement clutch for my 2002 Acura RSX Type-S. I was able to swap out the clutch in my garage, taking out the axles was a bit of a challenge though. I did not need to replace the flywheel as it was in good shape, not warped or burnt. Be sure to align and torque everything properly during re-assembly. Have driven 5,000+ on the clutch so far, it feels great, just like original equipment. Was a bit grabby the first couple hundred miles, but broke in nicely. Saved $800 by doing it myself.

Top drawer product for an absolute steal. Fraction of the price that parts stores offer OE equivalent. The alignment key is a bonus. I’ve bedded mine in 1500+km and it’s solid.
