At checkout, check the box that says "Ship in Amazon packaging." This will pack the product in an outer Amazon box. If you don't check this, it will likely be shipped in the manufacturer's box -- which DOES have corner protectors and is inside of its own cardboard box. But I was paranoid about corner damage, and this double boxing did the trick. Also I read a review that said this was foam, not foam core covered in paper. It definitely has SOMETHING on the front and back. It may not be paper as it repels water (and white glue) but it's there. The product was perfectly flat, no warp at all. Easy to cut, very lightweight, just exactly what I was expecting -- but note the thickness is 3/16" not 1/4", so if you need 1/4" this is not for you.

Exactly what I needed to back my finished embroidery designs to frame. Easy to cut too. Arrived in perfect condition - which I was concerned about.

What else is there to say? They’re definitely pieces of foam core. Just one fyi: if you’re expecting the edges to be pristine you’ll be disappointed. As is to be expected, the shipping package gets bumped around so there will be slight divots on the corners and edges.

This is a terrible product; it is not standard foam core board-It is foam only and not laminated with paper. The paper lamination is what gives this product its strength and ensures a clean cut edge. Also, the dimensions are incorrect, I ordered the 20" x 30" because I needed to back 20"x20" art and it is actually 19.5" x 29.5". Total garbage.

Product arrived quickly and in decent condition, but be aware that it ships with no box or packaging, and the outer sheets that I received were dinged up. For what I bought them for, it's not a huge deal, but if I had gotten them for a critical project, I'd have been pretty miffed about it, and you might be, too, if you need pristine sheets of foam-core, especially considering how expensive it's gotten. Other than that, I think these are good sheets of a pretty handy art material. Since the seller chooses the shipping methods, I've subtracted a star. If it had been important to me that I get them in brand new condition, I might have subtracted a few more.
