Fantastic Anchor
I’ve used this anchor multiple times during our trips, including in Bimini, and it has been extremely reliable. It holds strong in sand even with current and movement, and we’ve used it with both jet skis and boats at the sandbar. The build quality is solid and durable, and the included bag makes it easy to carry and store. It’s also very simple to use, which is a big plus when you’re out on the water. The photos speak for themselves — this was during one of our sandbar stops and the anchor held perfectly the entire time. If you do sandbar days, jet ski rides, or boating in shallow water, this is definitely a must-have.

Incredible Holding Power & Easy to Use!
I couldn’t be more impressed with SandShark. From the moment I took it out of the box, the quality was obvious, heavy-duty stainless steel that is built to last. I use it for my pontoon and jet ski at the lake, and it holds incredibly well, even in windy or choppy conditions. Easy storage, easy to use, simple but sleek design, with quality that lasts! Win, win, win!

Solid anchor. Held overnight on a remote camping trip.
This anchor is incredibly solid. 26’ SeaFox 268 Commander. I set the bow anchor and used a stern line to position the boat near the shore in a cove near our campsite on the lake. Drilled the SandShark into the sand and connected the bungee cord (highly recommended to get one) to a stern cleat. That helped absorb any wake and kept the boat in position overnight. It was my first use, so I tied an extra line (pictured - no tension) to a tree from the opposite side stern clear just in case. No need for that. The SandShark is incredibly strong when set properly. I tested the holding power by trying to muscle it out of the sand. It didn’t budge. One slight issue is that the release button is a bit sensitive. Be careful not to accidentally hit that and drop that auger on your foot, the deck of your boat, or overboard, or you’re gonna have a bad time… Very pleased with the quality of the product. It provides me with peace of mind when we are camping overnight.

Exceed expectations. SW Florida, Trittoon
Used this for the first time in SW Florida around Sanibel Island. I used it as a secondary anchor point to keep our boat from swinging in the wind. SO my primary sand(Danforth) anchor was holding the Bow and I used this to keep the boat pointing out to sea and from swinging. Our boat is 10' Beam and 30' Long with Twin Outboards., it held better than I thought given we had 18-20 mile an hour wind gust and 3 foot waves that day. Again this was not our primary anchor but used as a secondary swing anchor. It never pulled out of the sand. I did use the SandShark bungee rope to give it some stretch. I had a minor issue and worked with support and they were extremely prompt and answered to the issue quickly and professionally. I would use this a sole Anchor in shallow water in calmer seas. HIGHLY recommended. much better than a second plow anchor to store and try and retrieve.. Good luck and safe boating. -Extremely Happy Customer

Customer Service excellent
I bought the Sand Shark last summer (2024) and was very pleased with it. This summer (2025), the first time we used it, the screw in shaft broke. I reached out providing photos. I had a brand new one shipped to me within a week. Very impressed with the customer service. We use ours frequently with a 25' tri-toon and it works great. Highly recommend.

Great anchor
Love the anchor. It works great and is easy to use. Took a star away because the case it arrived in had a rip in it which is annoying because I have to worry about it poking through and hitting the fiberglass while carrying on the boat.

New 3.0 is the jam!
Just got the new 3.0 anchor, but haven’t used it yet. I’ll update my review after a few uses. I purchased the prior version of this anchor (hex shaped shaft) for our 25’ center console. Boat weight about 6k lbs. Held like a champ and was used exclusively as a rear anchor only. We used it in combination with Sand Sharks bungee line (a must if you’re anchored in any type of waves/current). The bungee line prevents the boat from “jolting” your guests around the deck when waves/wind pick up and the line catches. I was sent a new anchor under warranty as the old one started to deform. The shaft was hollow, and over time, started flexing too much, making it difficult to extend. I reached out to customer support and they offered to send me a new one. I got it today and, let me tell you, this thing is solid. The new shaft is solid stainless steel, no hollow stuff here folks. They also changed the knob that extends the shaft. This makes it easier to turn when your hands are wet. I bought several products from this company over the years and their support is phenomenal. I think they answered me within 15 minutes of sending a customer inquiry. A+ for the anchor and customer service. Bravo, Sank Shark.

Expensive garbage, SandShark does not stand behind their products
Expensive garbage. After less than 2 seasons of use, if I used this anchor 10 times it was a lot, this "PREMIUM" "ULTIMATE" anchor failed. One of the securing pins does not stay engaged. See pic. The pin should not just slip out on it's own when holding the bar upside down. The tension spring is faulty. The other pin works fine. I maintained this anchor according to included instructions. I contacted customer service for them to make it right. They chose to ignore me. It doesn't matter if I'm passed the return window. A product that was used 10 times, IF THAT, should not fail miserably. Especially when the company uses words like "ULTIMATE" and "PREMIUM" to describe it's product. That's just laughable. They obviously do not stand behind their products. I wouldn't either if I sold sub-par products like this. Do not purchase anything from SandShark. Their products are inferior, their customer service non-existent, and you could do a lot better with a different anchor supplier. Go with an anchor you can trust. ANYBODY but SandShark. I was lucky my jet ski didn't go floating away and that I caught the malfunction in time. I am quite disappointed Amazon would allow a merchant such as this to sell on their platform. Pro's: It's a very pretty blue.
