Best infuser design ever!
I love this infuser! It gives the tea plenty of room to expand, and suspends the leaves in the middle of the mug, which I think makes a better infusion. The silicone covers not only protect your fingers from the heat, they provide a gripping surface that prevents early-morning fumbles. The top makes a perfect, deep saucer to catch the last drips from the spent leaves. It fits on all of my mugs, from a 10 oz. to a wide-mouthed 16 oz. I’ve been using the infuser daily for several months now with the only sign of wear being tea staining on the basket.

Keeps the loose tea securely inside the infuser!
These two very affordable and high quality tea infusers keep the loose leaf tea securely inside the infuser. The infusers top and bottom are equal which helps to proportion the loose leaf tea. They are made of highest quality stainless steel 18/8.

these are great
The quality of this is great. Easy to clean, easy to use, no tea leaves escape and the size is perfect. The tea does not leak out of the tea infusers. Very minimal tea dust on the bottom of my pot. I highly recommend these. The plates the tea infusers sit on are not sharp at all. I do not know why other reviewers say it is sharp and can cut yourself. these are not cheaply made.

Mostly good, sleeves fall off
For the most part I've been very pleased with these strainers and am actually about to order more. My one gripe with them is that the little silicone handle sleeves come off way too easily. In fact I'm down to one sleeve left as the others have gotten lost in sinks, dishwashers, and random rooms and hallways. I may try using a high temperature gluestick gun to keep these on permanently.

The only tea infuser I'll ever need
I've had tons of tea infusers before, but this is the best by far. - This is NOT wire mesh like most infusers. This is an actual steel case with little holes in it, so it is sturdy. - Because this a solid case with holes rather than mesh, there is nothing to get stuck on. This makes cleaning easy because neither the tea leaves nor the dish sponge can snag onto anything. - It is BIG. I'd say it's about 3 tbsp by volume, meaning that your tea can properly fill up and infuse your teapot. - Because the holes are tiny, no tea leaves escape. While this may make tea leaf reading hard, it means that every teapot will be leaf-free and every cup smooth. - This is screw-on rather than a latch. This means that the infuser will never accidentally open, no matter how rough you treat it. This is a solid 10/10 from me. No question in my mind - if you want a tea infuser, just get this one!

good for infusion/brewing
we got these for our wedding and they work great! the tea doesn't seep into the cup as much as I thought, so I'm impressed with that. overall, this was a good gift and I use it frequently.

My Niece Suggested A Tea For My Bad GI System (TMI?)
My Niece traveled across country to visit me, and on the day we were supposed to go on a special outing, I was, um, well, um, indisposed. Again. After she got home, she sent three bottles of herbs to help me; Cumin, Coriander and Fennel, with a suggestion to get Dr. Kulreet Chaudhary's book, "PRIME," which I purchased. On page 129 the recipe is given for gut health: 1/2 teaspoon of each of the three herbs, from which I made hot tea in 1/2 gallon of boiling water. My tea strainer was too small and I wanted to increase the "dosage" because the tea was making me feel SO much better, so I ordered the two tea strainers from Amazon. (I only use one at a time, and clean the other.) I put 1 teaspoon of each herb into one tea strainer, place it into a gallon of hot water, let it seep, then drink it all day. I don't use more than 1 teaspoon because the seeds swell after being immersed in water. The strainers are P.E.R.F.E.C.T. They are durable, user friendly, and easy to clean. They have a chain which I latch onto my gallon pitcher. My sensitive GI System thanks my niece, Dr. Chaudhary, the herbs, and the tea strainers.
