Worked as it should on my 2024 GMC. Although if you are hooking a camera to the camper you will need to install an adapter to convert the voltage.

I bought a low cost laptop that used a barrel style power connector. The lone USB-C port cannot be used to power the laptop. This made the laptop charger and the cable unable to power anything else. I had a PD charger that outputs 12V (not all do) and when I connected this cable I got 12V at its end plus a charged laptop. Now, I can tote only one charger and two different cables for all my needs.If you use a PD charger that does not include a 12V output you will get only 9V from the charger through this cable. If you use a USB-C to USB-A adapter you will get 5V.

Bought this for my new GMC truck that does not have a12v power output. Worked to power my Furrion RV monitor for a couple minutes, but then the image started going in and out, and the monitor started to overheat. Was really hoping it would work since I didn’t want to use the included cigarette lighter adapter.

While the system does work, under most battery banks (tried with three well know brands) and about six different power adapters, the cable only supplies up to 9.30vdc. Not sure if this a cable chip limitation or how the different PD supply functions. But for what I needed, it will still work.

This cable is well made and I have no faults with it. I ordered it to hopefully solve a problem presented by my new to me Silverado pickup. My wife and I own a travel trailer with a wireless backup camera. The monitor in the pickup use 12 volts to display the image. Unfortunately, Chevy decided to eliminate the 12volt outlets starting with the 2022 year model. I watched a YouTube video in which the presenter tested the usb-c outlet and found it was capable of delivering up to 40 amps of power, enough to power a small laptop. I received the cable and unfortunately the 5 volts the usb-c outlet delivered was not enough to power the monitor for my backup camera. The adapter cable did what it was designed for but didn’t work for my application.

Didn’t work for my dashcam, BUT, it was putting out 12V DC from the Type C connection on my 2023 Silverado, so it does what it says it will do. Not sure why my camera won’t start up though. Going to try a different cable.
