Can you use this on glass?

I don't think it is meant for glass since glass doesn't have static like fabric does and it would probably leave a film on the glass.

Has anyone tried using this on black clothing to keep dog hair off ?

I have not, but I would try it on the underside of the clothing to test it and be sure it didn't leave a residue on the black - I would not think it would. Whether it would work for dog hair, have no idea.
