I am no longer eating gluten free, but I still choose to eat this product over others because it is so easy on the GI system, and it tastes really good. If you add a little butter or milk and lots of black pepper, it is perfection

I love Annie's Homegrown Gluten Free Rice Shells with Creamy White Cheddar! It's the best gluten-free macaroni and cheese I've ever eaten. It's much better than the other frozen gluten-free brand I had been using. I could hardly stand to eat that brand because the cheese sauce tasted chalky. The Annie's brand is so much better. The noodles are soft, and the cheese sauce is very creamy. I don't think that anyone would be able to tell that it's gluten-free. It's very easy to make. I just boil the noodles on the stove, add the milk, butter, cheese powder, and stir it all together. One box makes about two cups of macaroni and cheese. I always sprinkle a little black pepper on it. I am very restricted as to what I can eat, and finding a delicious gluten-free macaroni and cheese product like this means so much to me. I will continue to order the Annie's brand from now on. Update for November 14, 2013....I just bought the Annie's Homegrown Creamy Deluxe Gluten-Free Rice Pasta & Extra Cheesy Cheddar Sauce, and I love it too! With this kind, you don't have to add milk or butter because it comes with a packet of cheese sauce that you stir into the cooked macaroni. And so now I have two different kinds of Annie's macaroni and cheese that I love. I alternate and eat a serving of one of them every day.

This mac and cheese is stupendous. I had never had any until I came home the other day and my wife handed me a bowl of white cheddar mac and cheese for dinner. I knew it would be gluten free because we don't eat gluten, so I wasn't sure if the noodles would be good, given that some GF products can be hit-or-miss. I was shocked when I ate the first bite of this. It is creamy and the noodles taste like real noodles--none of that stiff taste that some GF noodles are known to taste like. Another thing that makes this mac and cheese so delicious is that the cheese doesn't clump up like the cheese in other mac and cheeses do. Finally, the cheese has the perfect mix of richness and tartness. It has a nice taste and is a bit unusual (in a good and welcome way) for a mac and cheese mix. The icing on the cake: buying this 12-pack turns out to be $2 cheaper per box than our local grocery store. Downsides (there are a couple): (1) We're down to box 2 of 12. This shipment arrived within the past seven days, folks. (2) I've started making it for dinner now on more nights than I'd like to admit (see #1 immediately above for the result of that). Sadly, when I hand my wife her bowl of macaroni, she always asks with a glimmer of hope, "This isn't the WHOLE box, is it?" But it always is. It's darn near impossible to eat just one serving. So, we end up wasting 80% of our daily calories on whey, cultured pasteurized milk, non-animal enzymes, and sodium phosphate. Essentially, we can't go back to any other brand! It's delicious! And there's no comparison between this and Annie's single-serving microwave mac and cheese; this one is the clear winner.

I have been gluten free for 6 years now (celiac) and I’ve tried just about every gluten free product out there and I always come back to Annie’s. The white cheddar shells are by far my favorite. It’s super quick to make and even my non gluten free girlfriend loves it. I really appreciate that it comes in such a big pack because my grocery stores doesn’t carry it and I like to keep a few on hand for a delicious and quick addition to any dinner. Definitely worth buying!

I apologize that I don't often eat this product as it was designed. I'm actually not much of a noodle person unless it's in soup. Not always. I do like noodles and cheese sauce occasionally, but generally I break this product up into two things. I munch on the tiny shells as a stomach covering before I take pills late at night because they're easy to soften and chew without cooking. If I don't eat something, I usually throw up the pills. You can't buy these shells anywhere else that I've found. I love the sauce too and save it for other dishes. It's alfredo/parmesan and I normally use it in a potato and broccoli casserole. For these purposes, this is a great deal.
