My dry stink LOVE's this soap! I tried all kinds of lotions and potions, PH balance stuff that all just dry out my skin even more, sometimes even making it painful. BUT, this soap smells like hell, but when you've washed in it, the smell is subtle and refreshing, but my skin LOVES it! Leaving me feeling comfortable in my own skin and moisturised. my mum recommended it years ago, and I thought she was mad, something so cheep couldn't work... it worked!

Great product. Sadly no longer made with coal tar but smells like it did. Nice to use and fabulous value. Takes me back .. I enjoy the fresh smell and it makes me feel clean. No irritation.

If you want to smell extremely clean but also like you have a skin fungus that needs clearing this is your soap.. I've never felt so clean but also the smell lasts all day and smells like you are treating something.

This soap definitely does what it’s meant to do and leaves skin feeling really clean. That said, the smell is strong and very old school. Honestly it makes you smell like you just walked out of a shoe maker’s workshop. Not unpleasant, just very distinctive. It’s clearly a classic for a reason! The smell is very unique. Great cleansing power and long lasting, but the scent might not be for everyone. I’ll keep using it, just maybe not right before heading out.
