From the mother-son duo behind the New York Times bestselling A Bucket of Blessings comes a zany Classic Board Book about a wild ride on a tuk tuk taxi in India! In this international twist to the beloved nursery rhyme, โThe Wheels on the Bus,โ anything can happen as the tuk tuk rolls through townโfrom an elephant encounter to a tasty treat to a grand fireworks display. And in the midst of all the action, one thingโs for sure: passengers young and old love every minute of their exciting ride as the wheels of the tuk tuk go round and round! Review: A treat for the new reader! - What a delightful way to introduce very young children, especially those who do not yet know how to read, to the pleasures of books and travel! Like its predecessor, "Bucket of Blessing," is lavishly illustrated and set in an exotic (at least for US kids) locale, making it fun for anyone to see and leaf through. It also draws on a familiar nursery song to acquaint them with the fun and color of street life in an Indian town. I couldn't resist singing the narrative myself! And if the kids want to know what a "Wala" man is, there is a brief glossary of unfamiliar terms at the end. A perfect entry from a mother and son team who really understand what children like and how they learn. Review: Good Fun Book for Toddlers - A nice Indian-Cultural remix to "Wheels on the Bus," for toddler. Includes a recording of the song itself. I bought it for my nephew (2) and he loves it. My sister and brother-in-law also love it, because it brings an ingredient of our Indian culture with it.

Toddler Loves This Book
My 2yr old loves this book. She loves it being sung to the wheels on the bus song. She always asks to read tuk-tuk book. lol. Iโm American but my husband is Indian, so I love finding Indian books to read to her, but this is the first that sheโs really really enjoyed.

Wheels on The Tuk Tuk.
We just returned from a trip to India and was looking for a gift suitable for a small toddler. I found this book online and it is so perfectly accurate and adorable. Her mother loved how it pronounces words has pictures and can be sang to the wheel on the bus. I would 100% recommend this to parents of toddlers.

Cute twist on classic kids song!
Fun photos with and a great twist on a classic! Love the glossary at the end which gives some cultural aspects too, great to teach older kids.

Cute sing-along book!
This is really cute. I read (sing-along, rather) it to my toddler nephew and he enjoys it. He is half Indian, so itโs great that there are fun books to show him part of if his culture.

A fun read
Not amazing literature- kind of annoyed by a few of the chosen verses (โThe elephantโs trunk goes spray spray spray,โ really?) But definitely a cute, fun book that my children love. I guess I would have just appreciated more than the superficial crap everyone associates with India. Hoping to see more from this author.

Wonderful cultural story
I teach my Kindergarten students the "Wheels on the Bus" song. This year I was making a real effort to find read-aloud stories that reflected the many diverse cultures of my students. I saw this book on Amazon (it's set in India), then requested it from a local library to read it in its entirety. I read it to my students and we all loved it, so I knew I had to have a copy of my own!
