6.5 in x 2.5in is the hole size required.

What is the voltage will it work in a 24v system ?

I don't think so. I believe the specs say something like 10 to 14 volts.

Dimensions: How far in front of the mounting surface does the grommet extend? And how thick of a border around the light does the grommet make?

The grommet extends about 3/8" and the boarder is about 1/2" wide. Hope this helps.

How bright are the white ones. I'm looking to install 4 of them on a custom back rack I am building for left and right alley lights and 2 in the rear
