No issues with the Glass Pitcher. Totally pleased with this product
I was hesitant to purchase this product due to the reviews that said the glass pitcher was easily broken and made of thin glass. I have not had that experience with this product. Yes, it is glass, so it requires more careful handling than a plastic pitcher. I purchased two additional pitchers, so I can brew tea while some tea is still in the other pitcher. I think this product works great and I'm totally pleased.I have used the Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker for years, and the brewing part still works, but those pitchers crack over time, and I could no longer find replacement pitchers, thus my purchase of this product.I also like that the pitcher sits on the base of the brewing unit rather than directly on the counter.If you're on the fence about purchasing this, I would say "Go for it." I am glad that I took the plunge. I use this item every day.

This is the best iced tea maker I’ve ever had. Very simple and easy to use. The glass pitcher is by far my favorite part.

Iced tea maker.
I love this ice tea maker. It is awesome. I don’t have anymore boiling water pull overfrom using my teapot. I am glad I chucked and got rid of my teapot for the stove and replace it with this iced tea maker. is the best thing that I’ve ever bought in my life for making iced tea. I have read reviews before on this product. The review said it was thin glass it’s not real thin glass but you do have to be careful with it and you won’t have a problem. The iced tea makes in seconds I dearly love it. I highly recommend it You will be completely satisfied.

Pitcher shattered from the heat of the tea. Not tempered glass.

Lovely Tea
Makes great tea, the glass is hardened it can take sitting under the ice dispenser on the fridge door. Perfect size and pitcher goes into the refrigerator after brewing. Works as described. You can also find decaffeinated tea bags on Amazon.
