Seattle Chocolates Bulk Truffles, Champagne, 5-Pound

High quality, lovely, delicious with lots of variety. They are worth every penny.

Very good selection of great chocolates. I even really like the "pink champagne", a bit weird with tiny poprocks in it, but subtle and fun!

Candy arrived all jammed up together in a clear plastic bag with a ton of clear tape bound around it, and yrown in a box. It was 80% DARK chocolate and the dark chocolate tasted old. The few we unwrapped had like a white film on the chcolate, which older chocolate gets. BUT THE WORST PART: we opened the tightly bound up bag of individually wrapped chocolates, and there were 2 strands of straight, very blonde, about 7 inches long, hair in the bag with the chocolates. We threw out the candies around the hairs, my husband had a couple of dark chocolates, I pulled out the few milk chocolates, and we are donating the rest. Rest of candy probly ok, but whole order was just a turn off!!

First came across this brand and assortment in the 1lb option--loved it so much (had a pretty even distribution of flavors) decided to go with the 5lb option. So terribly disappointed in the 5lb bag!! No thought whatsoever went into putting these candies into the bag... 30 of one flavor and only 4 and 7 of others... boo :(

The candy was old as others stated. The toffee bits were stale and many of the chocolates were discolored with that white-ish hue chocolate gets when it is old or been in warmer then cooler conditions. IF this chocolate was fresh, I would buy it again because it is a smoking good value. Guarantee freshness & I will purchase over & over : )

A friend sent me some of these a few years ago and we loved them so much I decided to make them part of our Christmas tradition for goodies. Wonderful flavors.

This is the second time I ordered this in bulk. The first time, I received all the flavors, but the second order had NONE of the melt away mints as described in the "assortment" With those being my favorite flavor I did call Amazon and they gave me a credit so I could order the melt away mint flavor separate. I love these chocolates and this is a great deal, just make sure all flavors are included as they advertise.

So the first bag of this chocolate was amazing. I couldn't stop eating it. And when it arrived I was thrilled! So excited was I that I could not wait to dig in... Upon attempting to unwrap the first one, the wrapper broke... i would have attributed this to the cold but when the chocolate was unwrapped it had this white almost powder look to it. OLD CHOCOLATE looks like this. Normally that wouldn't even bother me overmuch but the taste... This aftertaste like soap or perfume or something so strong I can still taste it. UGH! Well maybe it was me... I do wash my hands a lot... but no, the second one, tried after a good wash and rinse and dry (sniff test says no perfume or scent on my hands) and again that disgusting taste :( I don't think it was worth the 70 bucks for icky chocolate and I'm really upset that I spent that money on an item that will just sit in my pantry forever..
