Gillette Venus Deluxe Smooth Platinum Women's Razor, Includes 1 Handle, 1 Razor Blade Refill

So far this razor has been a fantastic buy! Its metal appearance is sleek/stylish and gives it a good weight to it- unlike the regular lightweight plastic ones. I didn't read the product details/materials, so I was happily surprised when I discovered the razor is actually metal and has a nice weighted feel. I don't consider myself to have sensitive skin, so I can't speak to it on that subject. But I do like the moisturizing razor head it comes with even though they often don't last very long- but that wasn't a concern to me since this style is the replaceable razor head type- which I prefer over the fixed one time use razors. Overall very pleased with the purchase.

Love this razor! I am 53 (shaving since I was 18) and have NEVER used a razor as good as this one. It is so smooth that it doesn't even feel like you are shaving. No bumbs or irritation with this quality product. I even find I don't need shaving cream, a good moisturizing soap works fine. I think, it may be the razor refill that is key here and I am pretty sure that all Gillete Venus razor refills fit the different types of handles; this means you can probably buy a cheaper Venus razor and then just buy these attachments. I think I got this one for a good price as an add-on, which is why I bought it. Definitely worth trying if its in your budget OR look for a sale price and/or coupon to try and see if it is worth it for you.

I kind the weight and build of this razor. It’s got a great shave and is comparable with any Gillette razor, so we can buy the giant pack of men’s blades at Costco and both use them.

I know, I know, it's a razor. It razes unwanted hairs. But I'm ridiculously attached to this one. It's got a nice weight to it and doesn't slip out of my hand when I'm all soapy and stuff, like those disposable ones do (and even some of the other Venus models). After 8 million years (or so it feels) of shaving, you get a rhythm going. I didn't really understand this until I tried a different, lighter, razor. I was doing my underarm area and usually, easily, just turn the razor one-handed to shave in the other direction...but couldn't. It was too little, or too light, or too something, but I just couldn't do it. And it would inevitably fall out of my soapy hands and my pit area lather would get rinsed off and I'd have to start all over again. Ain't no one got time for that, amirite? Anyway, this is my razor forevermore. I might even name her. And then take her with me into the next forevermore. p.s. That "other" Venus razor I tried... I'd bought it for my newly shaving daughter who I thought wouldn't need the Mercedes of Razors just yet. It came as a two-pack so I used the other. It was so awful I quickly went back to my beautiful Platinum. I feel guilty every day I see her pathetic little razor sitting there in the shower. But she's 12. With peach fuzzy pits. So it's ok for now. Right?

Best Venus I’ve used. I like the added weight the metal gives and it grips nicely. I only wish it had an extra cartridge, but that is the only reason for the one less star. Love the product!

I love this razor. I was fixing to spend over $75 on a custom razor from Etsy when I found this beauty. It's got some heft and the weight is great in your hand. It makes shaving those legs and pits and nether regions much more pleasant, plus it fits the Gillette Venus blades. If you're tired of the ugly plastic razors, this makes a beautiful upgrade.

In the past, I have used the Venus swirl for a number of years and finally broke while on my vacation after I had purchased a small supply of blade replacements. I only learned recently the blades are compatible with all Venus styles with the exception of two! Lucky me! Got an upgrade which I love and I can replace the blades!

No es que el paquete traiga un rastrillo y un repuesto, es literal un mango y una navaja, por si tenían esa duda jajajajajaj porque yo, si me confundi. El mango es metálico y pesa pero tampoco vale la pena pagar el doble por este. Les recomendaría comprar uno de hombre (funciona igual, sale más barato y se siente de mejor calidad). Nota: no está mal pero relación calidad-precio me dejo mucho que desear
