From what I've seen, this is the best single book to buy.
The best book yet, from what I've seen. Good advice, clearly based on real experience. My conversion is in progress and I'm finding the book helpful to refer to along the way. It's also quite inspiring. A couple of comparisons. John Wickersham's Haynes book is quite good, but he's distracted by having built some "coachbuilt" conversions (where you build the body as well as fitting it out) and he "wastes" a lot of space on things most people will never do. "How to build for less than £1000" is funny and entertaining, but a lot of it is only relevant to a build using a donor caravan. Speed's "Travel vans" is inspiring, but a bit old-fashioned, it's worth reading but you wouldn't want it as your only book. The subject of this review, Kenny Biggin's book is not cheap, but if you want to buy just one book, it's the best I've seen. I'd say it'll say you considerable time on your conversion firstly because he gives good advice, and secondly because you can refer to the book, then get on with the next job rather than trawling the internet, getting distracted, and having to sort out a bunch of conflicting advice! Good luck!

Good introduction to campervans and the function of their parts.
The book gives a good detailed description of the types of things you can have in a campervan, laws applicable etc. I have to be honest though - personally I was hoping for more of ‘how to’ not ‘what to’ do type book. Still very worth while though but if you’re looking for a guide on converting, this may not be the only book you will need to purchase.

What a great book for those new to conversions
Brilliant book. We've converted our first van and was continually going back to this book for info, helpful tips and ideas. Full of practical and easy to follow advice. Great info too on what to do when your van is done with regards to DVLA and insurance company. Very glad we had this book along our journey.

An essential book if you're converting a van
I know some have criticised this book for lack of detail on how to actually carry out certain jobs, but you're never going to be able to do that in one book! However, as a guide, to generate ideas and give direction AND if you have enough nauce, this book is a must have. There is plenty of detailed explanations it there on certain video channels, etc. A cracking book Kenny Biggin, it is going to be well used, thank you.

Brilliant Content & Layout - Poor Book Quality
Hi ordered the book Boxing Day received today 28/12/17 excellent service as guaranteed delivery tomorrow!! Really pleased with the content and layout of book, BUT don’t think it will last as the glue is already starting to come away from spine!! Not happy really but can’t be bothered to return so will probably eventually hole punch and put in a folder. Not really good enough for £25 price tag!! I’ve rated it 4* purely for content and layout. 1* actual book quality!!
