Was sick of soldering on a wooden table and having the solder drops burn spots on the table. My wife was not happy after seeing them lol. Decided to finally buy a mat to save the table and our relationship. It worked like a charm. The mat is high quality and a perfect size for hobby work.

This mat is great for soldering because it is really difficult to burn through (even when you have your iron at 300 degrees Celsius). A few months ago, I used this mat while soldering together a digital FM radio.

Best size! Held up beautifully until I started using it as a cutting mat.. don’t do it! lol

I bought this mat to use for doing lots of cell phone and tablet repairs. I have had it awhile now and can definitely recommend it for anyone that is interested in it. My only grip is that the smaller sections to hold screws is kinda annoying when it comes to cleaning the mat but beyond that it is fantastic, if they were slightly bigger it would be a lot easier to clean. Heat resistance is great, I blast hot air guns at it quite frequently and it doesn't look any more worn from it.

I do some jewelry repair and watch battery work and this pad is great. The thickness keeps me from scratching my wood table and also keeps the little batteries or jewelry parts neat and assessable in the little divided areas. This was a great find.

Its a bit too small. I use it as a coaster for my end table and have a bigger mat for real projects.
