Microlocs Sizing Tool - Micro Locs Measuring Tool, Ruler for Locs

This was awesome to use to install my locs. If you were wondering about how the sizing relates to the way the loc looks. I used 1/4 and sometimes ended up with a space between 1/4 and 5/8. (That’s just because of the density of my hair in some areas) I have 4b soft/medium/fine hair and my hair ended looking closer to sisterloc sizing. I hope this helps everyone have a better estimate of what the sizing looks from there. Using the tool on myself was pretty easy, yeah it was harder to do on the back of my head. But if you have someone to help you or can set a guide from the parting you have done in the front everything was pretty easy. I ultimately finished the front of my hair and then made a mark on one of my clips for the sizing to just make it easier on the back. Though I know that if I was using this mainly for other people this would be a freaking breeze.

I’ve seen videos of people using a tool similar to this to install their micro locs. This tool is missing something, I’m not sure what. But it didnt work as great as the ones I’ve seen other people use on themselves. This works well if you’re working on someone else.
