It's mid-august now. if i were to buy this plant could i expect a harvest before end of year?

The plant, though healthy and vigorous, has been pruned to encourage new growth. I am not an expert, but I believe it flowers( and fruits) on new growth. You certainly won’t get fruit this year, and only a very light crop next.
