Firstly, though NovaSOL boasts far and away the highest bioavailability of extra-bioavailable curcumins, it is also less studied than the others. That doesn't mean it's a bad product. But less literature backs it. The other thing is that standard NovaSOL dosage is 50mg. But this product is 25mg NovaSOL and 25mg turmeric oil. In some ways adding turmeric oil is a filler. There are a few tangential benefits to holistic turmeric oil over curcumin, but for all intents and purposes, curcumin IS the active substance in turmeric, and curcumin is what you want. NovaSOL being comparatively novel is not a deal breaker to me, it may even be a feature. Just seems a good thing to be aware of when choosing your curcumin. But price-wise, I basically see an almost double price premium on this supplement compared to other NovaSOL, and I am not sure the advertised benefit of added turmeric oil is worth that premium to me.

Too expensive
Product is good but way too expensive for the ingredients it contains

Much better absorption than curcumin with black pepper
I take curcumin for my joints because my knees have taken a beating through several decades of daily running. Curcumin is a powerful antioxidant that has been shown to fight inflammation, which is involved in many diseases, including arthritis, and also helps protect against other ravages of aging, such as mental decline. The issue with getting curcumin from turmeric is that it is poorly absorbed by the body if taken alone. Many formulations add black pepper to increase the absorption. This particular supplement contains a patented formulation called NovaSOL, which is supposed to increase absorption of curcumin by 18,500%, compared to black pepper, which increased absorption of curcumin by 2000%. It is important to note that there have been case reports of extremely high doses of curcumin causing liver damage. The World Health Organization recommends 3 mg per kilogram of body weight, so for a 70 kg person, that amounts to 210 mg per day of curcumin. This particular product has 25 mg of NovaSOL plus 50 mg turmeric root extract. The total amount of curcumin in these capsules is lower than the dose recommended by the WHO, but NovaSOL has much better absorption than regular curcumin, so I would be judicious and take care not to be overly zealous by taking more than is recommended on the bottle. People with pre-existing liver disease should seek the advice of a physician before taking curcumin, in my opinion. Given this background information and having taken this supplement, I find that my knees do not hurt when I run. I hope that this may at least in part be due to my taking this supplement and hope that it helps others, too.

Non-GMO with nanotechnology to increase the bioavailability.
I have been using turmeric-curcumin for years. There are many studies on the benefits that you can easily research, and discuss with your healthcare provider to see if it is right for you. They note they are non-GMO and that nanotechnology is used to increase bioavailability. I wish they noted where they were made, if it was in a cGMP facility and if they are third party tested. They are rather unique in that they have oil inside of a clear capsule. My bottle had a 7.5 month expiration date.

Curcumin and Turmeric Oil - In Easy To Take Capsules - Great Potency and Easy To Assimilate
Wow - these are very unique. This is actually oil that is inside a capsule. I have taken lots of curcumin supplements but this is the first time I have encountered this form. To me turmeric is one of the most powerful healing supplements around - I have taken it for decades and I am so happy to find these. They are very easy to take and I find no aftertaste at all. 2 months worth makes these a good investment in your health.

Capsules partially filled with oil; Turmeric Root Oil extract 50 mg, Curcumin 25 mg
This is a curious supplement; I take Turmeric and Curcumin daily and was attracted by the nano- form of this supplement, which hopefully might increase absorption. Per the information on the bottle, suggested use is 1-2 capsules daily, so this bottle of sixty should last 1-2 months. Each capsule is listed as containing Curcumin 25 mg, and Turmeric Root Oil Extract 50 mg. These are capsules, partially filled with oil, as can be seen in the attached pictures. Not gelcaps. They look a little odd, but swallowing them, they do not seem much different than other capsule supplements or vitamins I’ve had. The capsules are well sealed. None of them leak and there is almost no taste or smell to these. These are expensive, price point is a high premium, maybe because of the nano-preparation. I’m not sure if these are worth that much, but I’ll finish out the bottle and see. If I notice any dramatic effects, I will update this review.

Good absorption
The formula is super absorbable due to Enhanced Bioavailability and Utilizes advanced nanotechnology. Curcumin & Turmeric Oil Which are super medicinal in good dosages. It also helps me recover from the gym.
