Bought the first fire tablet a few years back and then this one. We still have them both. The screen size is small but you can adjust the settings so the letters are larger. One is used by my great granddaughter and she loves it for her learning games. Connects great to WiFi or hotspot and was able to download other streaming video apps. Quality is really good and have no complaints. My great granddaughter likes this over her Apple tablets.

I picked this tablet up to use it for work. My company has started relying on One Note for documenting repairs. Unfortunately when added to a cell phone, that application eats battery after recommendations from coworkers. This little tablet does the job. The size is perfect. It’s larger than my iPhone but small enough for a pocket or purse. It holds charge well simple to navigate. 10:10

Buy a real tablet. This is just a Kindle. I can't access Google Play Store and other Google Play features. All my games are already set up through Google. Most games require Google Play to bind and function. Blocking Google Apps is a corporate power play where the consumer gets caught in the cross fire. This device is so far useless to me. If you already/prefer to manage apps permissions for your kids through Google functions, this device will not be suitable for kids. Almost all games are set up to link/bind to Google Play....very few link/bind to Amazon. Until all games are able to do this with Amazon, Amazon should allow full access to anything Google.
