1400W Halogen Oven Healthy Cooking Extending Convection Cooker 12-17L with Accessories and Protective Basket

This is the third halogen table top oven I have purchased over about fifteen years. It compares well with previous purchases, meaning that we are well-pleased with it. I know of no better way of producing perfect chips, with as little as a teaspoon of olive oil, and it roasts an entire chicken perfectly in around 90 minutes. We use it almost daily for roasts and grills. The single disadvantage with all halogens is that it is impossible to keep the halogen burner in the top lid from staining over time, as they should not be messed with. This is a small price to pay for fast, economical, perfect cooking.

This is a brilliant product. I've had it for 5 years and it's still going strong. It heats up quickly and cooks most things very well.

Was delivered promptly and in good condition. These ovens are very easy to use, just set the timer and temp and walk away. The glass bowl is easy to clean, but the inside of the lid and spatter-guard slightly less so. That is not a deal breaker by any means I would still give the oven four and a half out of five. And the price makes up for the small short comings. I have no hesitation in recommending this oven.

SQ Professional 12 – 17L 1400W Blitz Halogen Air Fryer Oven with Extender Ring. Excellent for many reasons however the smartest reason my teen daughter chose this is for the safety of the white plastic outer basket. That basket (I think that is what it is called) covers the entire glass bowl so if you were to accidentally touch the oven while it is in use, there is no danger of burning your skin. The other features are what you would expect: variable heat and time settings, tongs to pick up hot items, extension ring to cook things that are deeper / higher or just way bigger like a whole chicken or a cake. Using it in her kitchen was easy and it looks good on the counter top, her kitchen is tiny with very limited out of sight storage, so this was left permanently on the countertop near the plug sockets and is used most days. When it comes to cleaning, it gets messy just like any other halogen or conventional oven in that oils will go hard on the glass and for that to come off easily, then an "oven mate gel" is the best for a no-scrub clean up. When my own halogen packs up I will replace it with this one because it has good capacity and is safe.

It being Covid Lockdown and my conventional oven being very old and breaking down, I purchased this Halogen oven to use for convenience until local shops reopen for me to replace my conventional oven. It was at the cheaper end of the Halogen ovens out there, but I did not want to spend that much never having had a Halogen oven before. The pros, it is easy to use, easy to clean, and does everything my conventional oven does. It will cook faster that a conventional and is cheaper on energy costs. The cons, it is large, you need enough worktop space for it and the lid when you take it off to place it down safely. You also need, somewhere to store it when not in use. I have to say that my first one stopped working about a week after I bought it, but the seller replaced it without question, and the replacement is working well. It is quicker to cook I am now wondering why I have to replace my conventional oven as this does everything I need it for.

Have had halogen ovens before. They are instant heat, reducing cooking time. Can cook anything from joints to cakes. Easy to clean

Halogen burns out too quickly only worked for several months

Arrivata con spina inglese, sostituita ok, fino a quando si è guastato il mocroinerruttore del manico. Consiglio di spegnerlo non alzando il manico, solo come protezione, ma dal selettore timer, acquistato da diversi anni, a parte i problemi rilevati è ok.

Il s'agit de notre deuxième four halogène, le premier a rendu l'âme après une utilisation intensive sur plusieurs années... Vraiment pratique pour décongeler ou cuire toute sorte d'aliments. J'ai mis quatre étoiles car il s'agit d'un produit importé du Royaume Uni donc prise anglaise, ce qui ne me semble pas indiqué à première vue! Heureusement, j'avais un adaptateur déjà acheté précédemment à cause d'une même mésaventure...
