Bought this for my fiance, and I'm really chuffed with it. A big pack of information in a smart tin, this set even includes information on where you can go to visit your meerkat should you want to. Once you register your meerkat you are it's sponsor for a year, and will be sent a photo of 'your' meerkat. I like the concept of helping charity while gifting, and this was a fun way of doing it.

The Meerkat Gift was beautifully packaged, in a colourful sturdy cardboard sleeve. The tin contained poster and information about Meerkats, but before I really had time to read al the information a yong relative came to visit me, spied the meerkat box and begged that I let her have it to take to school with her the next day. Naturally, she was given the Meerkat box and I believe the chi,ldren in her class were al quite entranced seeing the poster and reading the information. I am delighted about that. The Compare the Market Dot Com advert is all about the genius of the writers who have used the Meerkats as a tool for the advert but, by so doing, they have brought into prominance the Meerkat animal itself. Hopefully, this will encourage peole to readily support and protect the animal world, in all its wonderous diversity. I would recommend any school / household to obtain this Meerket product as a teaching tool and also as a source of information and enjoyment.

I bought this as a birthday present for my partner. We both love meerkats and I was stuck for ideas on what to get somebody who has pretty much everything. I was a bit unsure after reading some negative reviews about this gift but I'm glad I went with it. What you get is exactly what it says on the tin, yes, it's not very much but you don't get any less than what it says. There are some fun facts about meerkats inside so we both learnt something new and it was a totally different type of present. My partner was really pleased with it.

This item came gift boxed in a metal case and initially looked impressive. However the contents were quite disappointing - a poster and registration form, blah blah but you then have to register the docs (although the gift does state this) and it at this point it loses its appeal. As a gift it was ok but I was not worth the money, epecially as only 10% of the value actually goes to the cause and the 'discounted' visit entry option is not pratical unless of course you are planning a little trip to SA!

Bought this as a Christmas present in December 2024 only to find it had to be registered by July 2024 to be valid.

Bought the adopt a meerkat for my grandads xmas as he is obsessed with meerkats. Came in a nicely presented tin which contained alot of information inside. Was delivered quickly over the xmas period and well packaged. It was also easy to register the gift - jyst type in the code you recieve into the given website. Would reccommend to any pet lover as it goes to a good cause!

If you wish to help out Alexander Orlov's fellow Meerkats in Africa this is a great idea for that special person in your life or if you just wish to help out the Meerkats yourself. Your sponsorship for a year will help out with safeguarding these wonderful creatures in their native habitat. There is only one word for this gift - simples!!!!!!!

I love meerkats!!!..and this is such a great way to help preserve their environment and help keep them safe from being endangered at any point in time. I gave this as a christmas gift to my girlfriend who loved it. She's now the proud mommy of a lil meerkat. This is one of the best gifts you can give to anyone for any occasion. If you are an animal lover, this is for you. Im looking forward to adopt one myself.

This is a fun, unexpected gift for someone who has everything. The certificate and photo they send you after you send them your information is very nice. If you like meerkats, this is a nice gift.

I gave this adoption box to my other granddaughter and as I said before it was a good thing I looked inside. I completed the registration form and sent. Also received the adoption certificate on time to put inside gift box and give for Christmas gift. Once again I was disappointed with what was inside or lack of what was inside. Photo was included. I purchased the other small items to go with this gift.
