Got this VITURE USB-C XR adapter about 10 days ago to pair with my iPhone 16 pro max and Luma Ultra glasses, and I’m kicking myself for not buying it sooner. The colors pop harder and the edges are cleaner—no more weird cropping or compression like I had with regular cables. Connection has been 100% reliable—no random disconnects, no wobble, even when I’m on the couch flipping positions or walking to the kitchen. The short cable is flexible and stays out of the way. Compatibility is spot-on with my iPhone 16 pro max. Suddenly I have all the premium features people with Android or the neckband get: full SpaceWalker, proper 360° video support, and perfect side-by-side screens for work or gaming. The real hero is the passthrough charging—I streamed a 4-hour playlist yesterday and my phone went from 45% to 92% while the glasses were running. Zero heat, zero battery anxiety. The packaging and product both display a Bluetooth logo, yet neither the online documentation nor the included manual ever explain why. There is zero mention of what Bluetooth is used for, audio, control, or video feed management, leaving buyers completely in the dark. Functionally, this adapter is extremely unreliable. The pigtail strain relief is poorly designed, two cables pull on the smaller one, constantly loosening the connection. This results in one lens showing static while the other displays video, making the experience almost unusable. Head tracking and 3D rendering are choppy and inconsistent. One eye can drift to a different viewpoint or even show a separate menu page. Even after a firmware update, tracking remains unstable. What makes this even more disappointing is the hardware lock. You have to buy this adapter just to unlock proper head tracking and full 3D functionality. After paying so much for the Pro version, this feels like an unnecessary paywall for basic features that should already be included. For a $60 accessory, this feels unfinished and poorly engineered. The design flaw alone means it will likely fail even if it is not technically defective. This adapter needs a complete mechanical redesign and clear Bluetooth documentation before it deserves another look.

Been using this XR adapter with my VITURE Luma Ultra for a few days and it’s been solid. It doesn’t unlock the full XR features like head tracking or 3D, but it does exactly what I needed—charging passthrough and video/audio output without any hiccups. I can watch and charge at the same time, which is clutch for long sessions. The ports are clearly labeled and the build feels premium despite being super compact. For Ultra users, it’s a reliable accessory that keeps things simple and functional. Definitely glad I added it to my setup.

folks saying this enabled 3dof for the ultras... is simply not true, viture is bringing out a 3rd one that will work for the chip differences of the ultra compared to the pro... If you did buy this and have the ultra Viture has a program where they will validate your purchase and then send you the new version in a few months. this new version will also alow connectivity with the switch 2.

When it works it’s ok, I don’t know if the charger came with a defective issue but my iPhone 16 Pro Max was detecting it and not detecting it from time to time. Also on iOS it’s necessary to have this adapter in combination with the trash spacewalker app in order to have 3DoF.

This works with my Pixel 9 Pro and the Viture XR Pro glasses. Definitely need the ability to charge the phone when using as the glasses drain the phone battery quickly. Looks like a solid build. Nothing easier than plug and play with the phone. Put the phone in mirror mode and enjoy the privacy of watching and listening to movies without disturbing anyone else around you. Compatible with the Pixel 9 Pro.

More than my expected

Head tracking, spatial 3D, multiscreen, all the clever elements appear the instant the blue LED glows, and I have yet to notice so much as a whisper of lag. The build feels properly robust. The connector sits firm and will not budge, even when my five-year-old gives the cable an enthusiastic tug. Heat is kept well under control, and every 30 W charger I own has worked happily through the passthrough port. A quick nod as well to the leaflet in the box: it is clear, well laid out, and printed large enough for me to read without hunting for my glasses. Reliable performance, tidy design and the freedom to wander round the sitting room without a low-battery warning make this an effortless five-star product.

Its really convenient to charge my phone via connecting to my VR glasses. It will not stop my watching videos and give me a better using experience. Its a small adapter can bring it everywhere with me. Love it.
