Worked perfect after….
Other than the wires being wired backwards meaning brake light was on until I pulled brake lever then it shut off till release. I just had to swapped the wires around.

Fits many Harleys. Was plenty long & easy to splice in.

Higher quality than expected.
This is the third switch I’ve put in my 02 XL1200C. Those damn control covers are a royal PITA. This switch comes with 5 feet of excess length, which I assume for some bike it might be needed. Mine only needed a few inches. (Also what she said). I did not expect this to have a plastic sheath/heat shrink with it, but to my surprise, it did! I’ve never had to install one of these and NOT needed some kind of shim behind switch housing. Either shim it or brake lights stay on all the time.

Perfect fit on 2009 Sportster
I noticed that the brake switch on the front brake lever was broken so I ordered this. Perfect fit on my 2009 Harley Sportster. One wire from the existing switch goes all the way to the connection by the engine and the other wire is spliced at the blinker so it isn't a straight run. I just cut the wires at the old switch and ran the new wires to just above the blinker splice. Connected the wires there and taped up the plastic covering and it worked perfect. Be sure not to lose the tiny brass "spring" that braces the back of the switch. It is very small and easily missed when disassembling the old switch.
