I have been looking for a dupe of the Anastasia Beverly Hills lip stain in the shade Rosewood for YEARS. I think this Covergirl stain in Sugey Girl is as close as I'm gonna get.The pen style applicator is perfect for someone like me who is always in a hurry and has no time for precision. It goes on feeling almost like a marker; light, no shine, quite dry. I wait for it to set for a few minutes, then dab with balm for moisture and that's it.It doesn't last all day, but touching up is quick. Absolutely perfect for "no makeup" makeup.

I have tried almost every lip stain that exists, and this is one of the best ones out right now. I love marker type applicators because the end result looks natural and I do not feel anything on my lips. I dislike lipstick and lip gloss because of the heavy or sticky feeling, so these types of stains are my favorite.Most marker style stains tend to dry out, apply blotchy, or the color ends up looking completely different than expected. This one does not have those issues. The application is smooth, the color looks great, and it gives that lightweight natural look I want.Very happy with this one and would definitely recommend it if you prefer natural lip color without the feel of traditional lipstick or gloss.

I love this color. I bought admire. It lasts allday. But im mad because it came dried out. It didnt go on smoothly like the other color I bought. I purchased a different color and it worked fine. Its non sticky and you need to rub very hard to get it off. Just this color. Im going to see if I can exchange it. The color is very pretty though. A little dark, but more natural looking.

I have been using this lipstain for a couple years . I like color Sugey Girl because it’s a healthy looking color. I’ve had to learn how to work with this and main thing is to put it on without having any makeup on or close to lip line. I wipe it clear of any concealer/moisturizer/powder-down to dry lips. I apply onto lips the way I like it to look and let it dry -wait for 5 minutes to put anything on top to set stain. I put a gloss in middle of lips avoiding the outline -this sets color. Greasier foods will remove stain. Lips are exposed to oils acids from saliva and foods so wear time on lips is shorter than on back of hand.

This is my new FAVORITE lip ink. It’s not as drying as the expensive ones I had been buying that go on wet & wet looking but quickly dry out. This goes on smooth & stays on all day. And at a fraction of the price!! I LOVE THIS!

I don't wear lipstick well. I was looking for something quick and easy but this is just as messy as lipstick. The color is amazing but application can be tricky. Not to mention it's very drying, however when I put my chapstick over it the color didn't budge so that's good... Overall I'm upset I bought two.

The color is true to what is described and it’s a really nice stain that lasts for quite some time it also smells really nice like berries . Great priceAnd easy to use.

Review is for Color: 20 AdmireLip stains are my favorite lip product these days, but I am particular about them. I don’t like the types that use a wand and then we dip it into liquid. Since Covergirl Outlast Lipstain is like a marker, I was excited for it. I like using this as my lip liner since it goes well with PH lipsticks by Magic Kiss and MoodMatcher. I don’t see myself using the CG lipstain alone since it’s semi drying and can be patchy. I only have one color so I don’t know if every shade is patchy. To be clear, the lipstain doesn’t cause my lips to be dry. It’s just not moisturizing the lips. Depending on the baseline of your natural lips the experience will be different for everyone. I think CG lipstains are best used with a gloss, topper, or another lipstick to fill in my lips. I apply the lipstain on dry, clean lips. I allow it to fully dry before applying something over it.It's a matte finish. However, nothing is transferproof on my lips including this product since I snack/eat often throughout the day. Transfer is minimal and it doesn’t get messy compared to traditional lipstick. It’s probably long lasting and smudge-proof if you fast. Pigmentation was good. Better than r.e.m. beauty’s lip stain marker. It has a light fruity smell. Almost cotton candy at times. Non-offensive. Not overpowering. I did not notice any bitter taste in my mouth. Made in the USA with imported parts. I really have no complaints about this product besides the color is wrong for me.I chose Admire (20) because I thought it was a lightish pinky mauve. Instead, it’s a dark mauve color like 90’s grunge. A plum shade. Keep in mind I am light-skinned with yellow undertone. It would look different on a deeper skin tone. The swatches/doodling I did on my hand looks lighter than on my lips. It was quite difficult to capture the color accurately in my photos. Hopefully my review is still helpful. I want to order more colors so I’ll update my review in the future. Would I recommend this lippie? It’s definitely not for everyone. It really depends on what you want out of it or expect from it. I have buck teeth and traditional (waxy/creamy) lipsticks always get stuck on my teeth so I find lipstains/PH lipsticks work the best for my type of mouth. My options are kind of limited.

The COVERGIRL Outlast Lipstain delivers rich, vibrant colour that lasts way longer than most lip products I’ve tried. Once it sets, it doesn’t easily rub off — even after eating or drinking — so you don’t have to reapply constantly.It feels surprisingly comfortable for a stain — not too sticky or heavy. It’s not as dry as some other long-wear formulas, but I would still recommend putting a lipgloss over it.Overall, this lip stain gives excellent staying power and bold colour, with a comfortable feel and great value for the price.

Bought this for my purple and black witch costume and it was great. Definitely a lipstain feel, not a lipstick feel, which is exactly what I was looking for. It lasted through my daughter's halloween dance and didn't smudge. Would buy again.
