This vibrating alarm clock has been very effective, especially for my teens who share a room. The vibrating function is strong enough to wake you without being loud. Placing it under the pillow works best, and the vibration is noticeable without being startling. I appreciate that it’s rechargeable and battery operated, so there’s no need to keep it plugged in. The controls are straightforward, and setup was easy. It’s been reliable and consistent, making it a great option for anyone who needs an alarm but doesn't want to wake up someone who shares the room.

The ONLY alarm clock that has been successful at waking my 17 year old son. The compact aside allows him to ride it when he travels, the screen is easy to read and set. The sound and vibration effects are as promised.

My second time buying! This is THE BEST ALARM CLOCK for parents who have babies sleeping in the same room as them. I needed a way to silently wake myself up every morning without disturbing anyone else’s sleep. I fully charged this unit once when I bought in April and haven’t charged it once in almost 5 months and it still has a full battery. I’m so happy with it! I’m buying another because I lost the first one.

The best alarm clock I have ever had!

Definitely a mixed bag. On one hand, this does the job that it’s intended for. We have two kids sharing a room who need to wake up at different times. They can put the alarm clock under their respective pillows and wake up themselves without waking up the other one. This is a decent solution. A key design flaw, especially for kids, is that there is a daylight savings button on top of the clock that is very easy to press by accident. You can override this by switching the switch on the back of the clock to the lock position to lock the buttons. However, if you don’t do this, you might easily find yourself waking up an hour early or an hour too late. Additionally, after about three months, the buttons on one of the clocks that we purchased just stopped working. I will say that the customer service was excellent and they sent out another unit quickly and without asking us to send the faulty one back, but it suggests that build quality is not great and these may not be long lasting units. When I looked, I couldn’t find a better solution for an equivalent price- if you see something else that looks like it will work as well for a similar price I suggest trying out something different.

If you use this a lot, it's about 2-3 charges a year. Otherwise, you probably would see 1-2 charges a year. I did use it daily for several months. My body got used to it. So it uses roughly once a week to once a month since then. I'm still on the first charge. Not the pre-shipping charge. I meant after it was shipped to here, and used it for several months. I charged it once. Now That is about one year already. This is the most energy efficient alarm you can have, as far I know.
