When I first got it (about two weeks after my injury), I could barely lift the main shaft to 500 ml, and even that made me dizzy. You get what you ordered which is hard to find in todays world. I ordered this because I quit smoking and I thought it would be helpful in speeding up my lung function. It definitely does, but I can't believe I didn't have this all along just for the breathing excercises that is so beneficial to not only pulmonary, but stress, cardio, endurance etc.etc. Well worth it!!!
