ICEWRAPS Reusable Cold Pack with Fabric Cover - Extra Large 12 x 21 Inch

I'm sorry to say I'm an ice pack junky and have way more experience with using ice packs then I'd like to admit. I've used all types and shapes, but this is my first clay pack...and I love it! The first thing I noted is how much heavier it is than similar-sized gel packs. It is very heavy. So keep that in mind with certain places you're applying it. For instance, I placed it on my head to help my headache and the weight of it was too much, so I switched to my gel pack for that. However, the weight can be a benefit, offering much needed compression during ice therapy. For instance, on a swollen ankle the recovery time seems to be much faster because of the weight of the thing in combination with the cold. The second thing I noticed is that it doesn't feel immediately freezing like a gel pack does; it sits on the skin, thoroughly and deeply cooling the area much more efficiently than a gel pack. It feels amazing, almost soothing as opposed to the harsh, driving cold of a gel pack. But don't be deceived, it is VERY cold and does the job better than well! The third thing I noticed was how long the cooling lasts! I'm able to move this pack around to various parts of the body for 10-20 minute increments for nearly two hours and reap the benefits of the cold. It's amazing! This alone makes it worth the buy. Fourthly, the size of this pack is extremely versatile. It's large enough to cover the back top to bottom. I turn it horizontally to go from one side of my torso to the other. It can wrap around an arm, a hip, a calf, and maybe even a thight if you're a smaller build. It has great coverage on the shoulders as well. HOWEVER, it is not as flexible as a gel pack, so trying to get I to nooks and crannies or around the neck is difficult. There are other sizes and shapes of this type of pack for those purposes. Finally, the quality of this pack is very good. I examined it when I received it and it is very well made. I don't think there's a risk of it breaking or leaking at all. The materials are high quality and durable. In short, I highly recommend this product.

I really like this ice pack. It is so easy to use - stick it in the freezer, take it out when cold and put it wherever you need it. I like the size and its versatility.

stays very cold but without the discomfort chunks of hard ice wrapped in a towel. Performs better than gel packs that don't stay cold long enough. I wish the shape was better designed though-it has a seam down the middle that is weird-maybe supposed to make it easy to conform to the body part. A better design would be one that is longer. Maybe sell as a set of three-one small, one wide, and one long narrow one so that it covers any area that happens to need therapy. For example, this would not work for a wrist injury, and not long enough for shin splints etc. Overall Ill deal with the issues just to have the clay icewraps they work so great- I couldn't find one for the longest time and mine had finally given out.

Its big enough to lay on, put on my lower back and hip - it stays in place because the frozen ice pack is a little heavy. I haven't experienced any leakage. I have a lower back issue but my pain is in my hip and goes down my leg - all the ice packs I've had were just too small. I would buy this product again!

My wife and I started using clay ice packs when she had a new replacement 10 or so years ago. I had a knee replacement in 2024 and gave the clay ice then to a friend. I purchased this new clay ice for a revision surgery and use it often to reduce swelling and reduce pain. I recommend highly to family and friends as they are durable, don't drip, and conform to whichever body part you need to ice. Super simple to use with or without the fabric cover as can cover with a towel for quick application.

I like the fact that this cold pack is filled with clay because it allows the pack to easily be shaped around the body part where it is applied. (Other packs are stiff and difficult to shape.) I also like the size of the wrap because I can use it easily on my hip or thigh. Additionally, it remains cold for over 20 minutes after removing it from the freezer; disposable ice packs often warm up after 10 minutes.

Love the size of this product, it covers my whole back (I’m a petite-medium sized woman). Don’t usethe sleeve but it’s a nice touch.

This ice pack is excellent. It stays really cold for the entire 20 minutes. I used it for therapy on my shoulder. If they wanted to improve it, they would include a sleeve with velcro straps so you could wrap it around the affected area without holding it.

This is a great cold pack, especially the size. If you need to ice a large area you can't go wrong. Seems durable, I've been using it regularly for a few months now.

Really like this! The clay filling is a big improvement to the gel and it stays a comfortable cool for longer. I don't love the 'bag' that it comes in as I find it is too big for the ice pack and doesn't hold it that well, but I bought this for the ice pack and not the bag, so it's not a big deal.
