⭐ Great First Electric Shaver for Beginners
I bought the Philips Norelco Shaver 1100 Series for my son as he started his shaving journey, and it turned out to be a great first razor. It’s very easy to use, making it perfect for someone learning to shave for the first time. The speed is good, and the shave quality worked well for his needs. He said it felt comfortable to use and didn’t cause irritation. The battery life also holds up well, lasting until it’s time to recharge again. What made it even better was that it turned into a nice father-and-son bonding moment while he learned how to shave properly. Overall, a solid and beginner-friendly electric shaver that worked well for us.

Slow but good
This electric razor works as advertised. On another review, the person stated that the cord was stiff and held the curves from the cord being folded and tied in the package. That was true and and what I did to straighten the cord was to hang the cord so that the shaver kept tension on the cord. After 2 days of hanging, the cord is still stiff but straight and easier to manage. As far as the shave quality, I have a Norelco 2000 series shaver that costs more than twice the price as this one. The blades run slower than the other model but if you slow down your shaving motion, it shaves as good as the more expensive one of the same brand. I do recoment this shaver.

No razor burn, works on electric only.
Glad to have an electric razor that works while plugged in. No razor burn, don't feel it cutting at all. Works well but required multiple passes from different directions. All fine for me, but if you have a medium to heavy beard hair, best to choose one with more power. Wish it had a pop up trimmer. For what it does, great value. Have always used Norelco.

Great electric shaver.
This is a plug in model and works well or me. Inexpensive and made well. I use it everyday and I have very stubborn facial hair. I always clean it when I am finished shaving. Philips Norelco is well known for electric shavers.

CUTS YOUR FACE and uneven shave
Summary: Weighs nothing, terrible quality, loud, does not shave evenly or close and causes cuts that are worse than razer burn on the face. I have had 2 Norelco electric razers in my long life. The first was my fathers and he had it for 10 or 20 years before me. My second was before Phillips took over the company. Those razers were amazing. Heavy duty (Weighed at least half a pound), close shave, and lasted forever. The first thing I noticed when I opened it and picked up the box was thinking they sent an empty box. I was confused because I could see a plastic looking razer inside. It took 15 minutes to get the box open without ruining it. Some weird one piece Oragami folded nightmare. When I got the razer out, it weighed almost nothing. It was hard to believe there was a motor inside. I thought maybe it was a manufacturing glitch and it didn't get a motor. The box seemed to weigh more than the razer. I though "Well technology is much better these days, maybe it's just this lightweight. I attached the plug and clicked the button. I hear spinning, but it sounds like a high pitched rattle. Much louder than the ancient ones I had owned before which had a lovely quiet hum. I put it on my face and noticed that the floating heads moved like my old one, but less smoothly, and I started to shave. It felt uncomfortable, but I was not sure if it was snagging hairs or the floating heads were just sharp or something else. I kept going in the same area and it kept making noise like in the video of it cutting hairs. Much louder than the old ones. But I would keep going over the same area again and again and it was still making sounds like it was cutting. I ran my fingers over the area and the whole area had stubble, but patches of it were longer than others, so I tried going in different directions and it eventually evened out, but never got a close shave, just very short stubble. After 15 minutes I got sick of trying and figured it was good enough since I wasn't going anywhere today, but there were still patches of stubble. 15 minutes later, I started feeling burning on my chin and mustache area. I touched it gently and it seemed to burn more. I went to look in the mirror and it was bright red and little bumps with tiny dots of red that were the color of blood, but not blood drops. I looked with a magnifying mirror and saw microscopic cuts. I'm old, but I have good skin. This was not a bumpy area to start with. By the time I did the return online and packaged it back up in a return box, the redness had gone down a lot, but I took pictures and you can still see the damage and bumps. This is just not the same company and the razer is nothing like the quality they used to be. It feels like a cheap plastic toy and it definitely does not work very well. I simply do not understand how there are so many 5 star reviews. The whole point of an electric razer is to be quick (which it is not) and avoid razer burn. I dont get razer burn from my razer blade razer, but I certainly got a lot of it from this. The flat areas of my cheeks did not seem to get this, but they have patchy stubble, so it didn't actually shave evenly or close.

Barebones shaver does the job.
The shaver seems to do a good job, pretty close shave and not too noisy. But I failed to notice that it was a wired-only device, not wireless, and it did not include a built-in trimmer (I thought they all had that feature nowadays). So the product is fine and you get what you paid for, but make sure you just want the barebones version. It works fine but doesn't have the convenient feature that the more expensive models offer. My last shaver had it all, but for the same price as this one, but it was from China, and only lasted a couple of years. Hope this helps.

You can’t go wrong
I love all the Norelco shavers I ever bought. I HAVE USED THIS BRAND over 50 years. They give an excellent shave easy to clean rechargeable. Like anything mechanical they wear out I have bought replacement plates but never as good as the originals. For the price and longevity well worth the money.

Like the good ol' days (almost)
I remember the days when all electric shavers where plug-in, then they went to hybrid having a battery and working while also plugged in, then they went all battery. Plug-in ones, and the hybrid ones too, were the best. My experience has been that battery ones just don't measure up anymore. They just don't have the power and the younger people don't know. Anyway, I always get Norelco shavers, always thought they were the best. This one is not a disappointment. Stronger than my much more expensive 3600 series battery powered Norelco. Provides a nice shave. Other reviewers state it irritates the skin in the neck area, but I don't apply much pressure on the neck, so haven't had a problem. The only downside I've seen so far is the cord: the plug pops out of the shaver occasionally when using it, the plug fit isn't very tight. And a pop-up trimmer would have been nice feature to have too, but I didn't see any plug-in shaver with the trimmer (they used to have those).

Exelente producto
