The Phonics Machine Learning Pad

Got this for my 7 year old grandson who’s on the spectrum and was having trouble in 1st grade reading. This machine is easy to use, fun and helps keep his attention while learning. His reading has improved tremendously since starting.

Like it. Does what it’s supposed to do.

It’s very nice. But, it’s not interactive. It does know when you have not made a response, but if you say something back; it doesn’t have the ability to respond.

Not worth more then 20 but good practice for the kids

It’s a a great educational game, however, the slider is really too hard-it’s a bit of a challenge to slide it . Sound wise , it’s okay but the major issue is the child is having a hard time sliding the key

My 4 yo grandson begs to use it every couple of hours. He has already mastered the first 10 cards (5 cards, double sided). The interface is simple. I do wish the volume was a little higher. For the price, an excellent tool for early phonics teaching.

I bought this going into the summer time. I wanted learning activities for the kids to do that were educational but didn't have a screen and . Pros: -Great reinforcement cues from the machine, both when you get one right or you get one wrong. -120 different learning activities- each of the different levels are color coded making it easy for me to give each of my children the stack of the color cards where they are at. Then they can choose which cards they want to play, which keeps them more engaged. -With the colors that you choose that correlates the correct answer, we can include our 3 year old (he is delayed). We let him know which color button to push and he can work on his colors Cons: -Very sensitive scanning bar. If moves at all while you are working on the card, it will reset the card and you will have to scan it again and restart. -Not loud enough -No button to allow you to hear it again -Carrying case for the cards does not have enough room to include the phonics learning pad
