GREAT little plates!
Back in the day, I had a set of melamine Asian-themed plates that I used constantly. After finding out that melamine wasn't the safest of materials (i.e., can't use them in the microwave), as well as general wear and tear, I was on the hunt for something to replace them. Enter Amazon, of course! These plates caught my eye - they are sturdy and cute as can be. Bright, vibrant, cheery colors, with a nice "heft" to them without being too heavy (or light). Great size too (I got the 9.5" size), good for pretty much everything. The only one of the set of 4 that was a bit "iffy" is the yellow one: it's overall color is uneven and a bit mottled, and the edges feel a bit rough. But it's not a game changer...they're covered with food most of the time, right? ;-) So far so good...will update my review if things happen to go sideways after some short term use. Happy little plates I know I will use a lot!

Beautiful plates.
I have a very small table and my traditional round plates make dining with anyone else awkward because the plates are nearly touching. I bought these to use when I have guests and they're perfect. Just the right size for a dinner plate, pretty, and they eliminate my weird table arrangement issue. I'm very happy with them.
