Unless your specific application requires all three frequencies - such as high-precision RTK surveying or advanced atmospheric correction - a dual-band antenna offers better value for most users. The build quality and performance justify the investment only if you genuinely need that L2 frequency support. For typical consumer GNSS applications, the added expense is hard to justify.

Solid upgrade for stonger outdoor signals
Perhaps the thing I liked most about this unit besides it's tough outdoor case is the lengthy ~16ft of cable you get. This makes positioning the unit in a spot for best satellite reception super easy. In my use-case I swapped out the smaller gps antenna for my meshtastic node and upgraded to this unit. Now I'm able to better position the antenna further outdoors for better reception. Price-wise this is a bit more of an investment but you get the added durability and longer cable.

Funktioniert sehr gut mit u-blox GNSS Empfängern mit SMA. In meinem Fall NEO-M9N.

Mit dieser Multiband-Antenne ist mit dem Garmin Montana 700i leider keine Satellitenortung möglich. Obwohl mir die Antenne sehr gut gefällt musste ich sie daher zurückgeben. Schade
