Will this fit in a fabric storage cube?

NOT FOR LEGAL IN A FABRIC CUBE! I purchased this for the fabric Kallax cubes. I wanted to use it in the legal size folders. NO this does not fit if you need it for legal folders!

We bought this, but it keeps falling over. We assembled it just as the pictures show. Is there something else we need to do?

Can't help with stand alone - ours is in a drawer and it's perfect. Maybe try putting it in a cardboard file box from an office supply store?

How do you adjust the depth? I see scores on the rails, but I cannot bend them with hand tools? Any advice?

The scores on the rails are how you adjust. You need to get a pair of light hand pliers and simply clamp down on the rail and bend right before the indentation size you'd prefer. Or I've used the corner of a desk/ table and done it by hand. I've never had any issues with difficulty. Do not clamp your pliers over the scoring, clamp your pliers right before the score mark you'd like to size down to. Place the rail flat on a desk or table. Slide the rail slightly off the table to the length you'd like to shorten to. With one hand hold the rest of the rail on the table, with the other use hand tool to bend the rail down. Should break easily. Hope this helps.

Do you have to use this in a draw? Or is it strong enough to stand alone on top of a low file cabinet?
