Love the easy install process and the Mobile App makes viewing the cameras and Playback footage very easy. You can download specific files for replaying later. A little disappointed that in order to get Cloud data that they charge you per camera and not a bundled price for the entire setup on one system. Would love the ability to create additional logins for my spouse and children to be able to login but haven't figured that part out yet. The quality during the day and night with nightvision is incredible. My neighbor saw me installing them and showed him the quality and he bought some for himself. Loved that they came as a 4 pack so I bought 2 sets and have plans to get more sets once I can extend my Wifi to have a farther range.

I got these cameras because of how they are, because they're solar charged. They started out great. Now, 3 out of 4 are offline in an order for me. To put them back on, I have to delete them and read them to me. That is a very big inconvenience. And I cannot return them because I've had them too long I even got my dad and mother to get some. They got 2 of them, and they've only had them for 2 or three weeks. And both of them have gone offline. This is a huge inconvenience and very disappointing. The only thing I didn't like about them was they didn't follow away person unless you manually did it that I could do with that because everything else worked out good until today. When 3 of them went offline, and I couldn't even use them until I read them. And 2 of them, I can't even do right now.

Have had this camera for over two weeks now and to date, no regrets. Set up was simple and the picture quality exceeds that of my other security cameras. This plus the fact that this unit has tilt, pan and zoom functions that my others do not make it even more of a winner. I had read some reviewers state that the battery life was not very good. Not sure if they may have gotten a bad unit or what but I have not found this to be the case. To date I am still showing 98% of battery life remaining after almost 3 weeks of use. The one thing that caused me to give if 4 stars instead of 5 was the fact that it appears O-Kam does not offer software which, would allow me to access the camera with a laptop or PC like my other cameras do. You must either use your smart phone or a tablet. If they ( O-kam) would look at making that possible, I would change my rating to 5 stars. The other thing I noticed that the response time seems to be slower unless you are using an up to date smart phone. Still more than satisfied with the performance and the zoom, pan, tilt functions make it a worthwhile investment. Update after one year of ownership on this camera. Still works well, like everything about it except the fact that it still can only be used with a smart phone or tablet. No access with a PC like I can do with my YI cams. Picture quality is very good and I have found battery life to be extraordinarily good. I have only had to charge it once in 12 months after the first initial charge. I do not use the solar panel as it does not seem to be needed. I see where a few users stated that the solar panel does not work but, since the camera states that it must be turned off to charge, I don't see how using the solar panel could be of much use. Contemplating ordering a second one due to the functionality of pan-tilt-zoom over my other cams which are stationary.

I want to point out good and bad things. For the good: 3 day cloud (on your phone) free storage. In my opinion enough time to figure out if something happened. The fact that the camera can rotate and you can get different angles is great I’m in Puerto Rico, our houses here are made of cement, I have one of these cameras about 50 yards from my router and it works well so good range on these. The night vision looks great as well The bad: Lateral movements is slow to pickup; so if you have something such as a vehicle or someone running from left to right or right to left, the camera motion sensor is slow to engage and if lucky you get the vehicle or person for a split second. In many cases not enough to identify who or what Second of all; I would assume this is just a software issue and can be fixed with an update, I called the customer support line, and a lady answered, I told her my concern, they didn’t take any information from me just somehow said she would pass my issue to their tech team and that they would reach out to me. 2 months waiting 🙃. For the price I would recommend at this point in time. But if lateral detection is important, perhaps it’s best to look elsewhere.

I have been through four sets of outside cameras over the past few years. The setup on them was terrible. The one wanted me to load a bug infested app that Google would not support. But these little babies have it all. The night vision is amazing. I think I have seen my long departed neighbor walking around in his driveway. The HD is right there with the expensive units. I love playing with the PTZ feature. The app makes it all happen. I have not tested the range of the cameras signal, but, I have a small house with a large deck and I now have four cameras in use, and the signal is strong at each point. As for the charging, the little solar panels keep the cameras going even on cloudu days. The capture feature is very versatile in that you can set the length of recording. I did put the 128 mbs card on all of them. It gives me enough storage that I don't need the cloud storage. As for the price, it's a given. A bargain in my book. One grey area, I am having some difficulty getting it to work with my Alexa Show. It may just be me.

easy to set up withe the Okam app, it was very difficult to get the cameras to get connected to the echo5, echo5 says the cameras are not compatible and are not on the list on alexa, Customer service is great and tried their best to explain what the problem was , seems the amazon add says alexa compatible but not echo5 compatible , ithought that it would be the same , looks like you can tell alexa to show the cameras to the tv if it is connected to the alexa . This is not what I expected. after 3 days 2 of the 4 cameras cow connect to the echo5 and 2 do not , I have no idea what happened to make a least some of them work but not all , the cameras do work fairly good at showing what is in their view and has ways to control if you want to record everything or just people. If you put everything it records everything that moves flags ,buggs that fly by and bushes when the wind blows , It does notify my phone of all the recording and on what camera it recorded. There is a way to silence the notifications if needed, directions how to set yup the camera are pretty good but its a shame that there are no printed setting instructions and you must always go into the setting area on the app for each camera. The cameras do connect to the wifi very good as 2 of the cameras are on the far side of the house far away from the wifi router. If they ever fix the app to connect to the echo 5, I would change 3 stars to 5 stars without a problem changed my review to 5 stars Customer service is the best , I had questions regarding the cameras and always received a reply with answers to my questions within a few days , lin eden was my contact and was easy to communicate with My cameras now connect to my echo 5 , had to fix the settings in the alexa app looks like after i updated the app, the next day they were added to the app
