Works for my Electrolux Washing machine. Replacement is easy. Two Philips screws hold the catch in place. I recommend buying a spare as the door catch seems to break every year or other year. Shipping was fast and the seller followed up. Replacing the catch is easy. I had to replace this as the top of the catch (which locks in the machine to close the door) broke off. If the machine wont release the broken catch you will need to remove it by taking out the locking assembly. This will require removing the receiver via the two Philips heads, pull out the cover and receiver relay module. Remove the wiring loom. Two screws hold the module to the face mount plate. Unscrew to detach the module There are about 4 tabs holding the cover on the module. once the cover is off, the spring and lever can be pushed aside to release the broken catch. Once done , replace the module cover, reattach the face mounting plate. Reattach the wiring loom, insert the module into the machine and mount the plate to the washer, reattaching with the two screws. Once done , ensure the door closes. If it doesn't, there is a chance the retaining lever in the module was not returned to the correct position and is in the locked position. You will need to remove and reopen to move the latch to the correct position Pretty easy job. I would recommend not overtightening the screws as they round easy on the Electrolux, also, take pics as you work through this so you can work your way backward once done. Attached are two pictures, one of the broken catch and its replacement, and the second is the locking assembly module and faceplate

Broke the door latch to my front loader washer and this fit and worker perfectly.

Our Electrolux washing machine is just out of warranty and the door latch broke. The door never lined up properly and because of this, the end of the latch broke after so many hundreds of cycles. See the image of the latch receptacle where the lower ramp is all scratched from the latch hitting it. I inspected the door, hinge, hinge pin, bushings, frame and I could not find any significant wear or deformation which would cause the misalignment, so I have to assume this problem was there from the beginning. Keep in mind I don't normally use the washer, my wife does. But this problem was no fault of hers. Anyway, before installing the new latch, I was able to "adjust" the hinge area to position the latch directly in line with the latch receptacle and all is well. The latch was a prefect replacement and now all is working as it should. I did notice the part dimensions shown on Amazon are not correct, the width of the part is 0.67", not 0.47".

Mine just broke recently. This is a perfect fit replacement part, and even if it hold up as well as the original, the washer will go out before these 2 pieces will. Installation is painfully easy, just 2 screws out and 2 screws back in. Note, if yours broke while closed, there is a good chance that the tip is locked in the locking mechanism. Just take that out the washer, and there is a lever on the back to push in and release the lock.

La pièce a très bien remplacée celle qui était cassée sur la porte de ma laveuse à linge Électrolux. Nous avons dû retirer le morceau qui était resté dans la pièce qui est directement sur la laveuse mais ça a bien été. Un peu de patience et de minutie pour le retrait du morceau. Donc entièrement satisfaite du prix et de la pièce.
