Best starter printer
Almost a year on and this thing is still powering on. It's a real work horse. Noisy, but produced some amazing prints for me. This is my 3rd 3d printer now. It pretty much is a inbox run the set up and you're printing. Their version of orca slicer is nice and easy. The speed is outstanding. Because I do a lot of organic shapes I tend to run it at 300 ps. I've managed to knock out a full size gremlin this week in 4 days.

A really great update for 2024 - Very fast and High Quality Prints
I cannot attempt to do justice to the Flashforge 5M Pro here and would suggest anyone curious to go take a look at online videos of the machine. It is, in short, a perfect practical build sized 3D printer using the latest CoreXY design. This makes for a printer that can reliably print at 300mm/s (typical cartesian 3D printers do so at under 50mm/s) at an outstanding quality. Prints at 0.2mm layer height look almost as if out of a injection mould. Drop to 0.16 and its even better still (although taking longer of course). The boasts of 15 minute Benchy prints are not at all unrealistic. Physical size is only a little bit up from the older Flashforge Adventurer 3 printer (that this replaced). It sits on the same desk as the AD3 did without encroaching noticeably on the desk area. In operation is is very quiet compared to a lot of other 3D printers. The noisiest element are the fans - these move the air quickly and so will make a noise, but it is not intrusive. Dimensional accuracy of the 5M Pro is astonishingly good. Not only the overall body of the print, but holes for mounts are the correct size and are located perfectly (obviously depending on your own CAD skills). Much of my 3D design is functional parts for other "things" and so the dimensional accuracy is critical. This printer doesn't miss a beat. I typically use Flashprint with the 5M Pro simply because the need has not yet arisen to use the other suggested Orca Slicer (which I am familiar with for my other machines). I have set up all the profiles in Orca and tested them. But came right back to Flashprint for its crazy simplicity and connectivity with the 5M Pro over my WiFi network to send files and control the printer remotely. Price fit my budget nicely. This is an inexpensive machine that punches way, way above its price!

An unexpected pleasant suprise!
Okay so I'm no 3d printing Nublet, Nor am I a 3d printing veteran. I'd class myself somewhere in between half decent and "the lad to go to if you have a printer and its making funny noises". I initially bought both this PRO version and the 5M stock flashforge machine as quick and dirty workhorses for prototyping enclosures and fittings for electronics projects. one for me (Obviously the PRO) and one for a graduate engineer we have here at the "Firm". We already have a resin printer and a Carbon X1 from Bambu Lab. So here are the 5 stars in order: Once the machines arrived set-up was a breeze. Open box, Remove foam, Unscrew 4 bed retaining screws with the supplied allen-key, connect the bowden tube then switch the machine on. Self calibration then starts after you choose your preferred language. After calibration, insert supplied filament and print off a cube. The whole process was so seamless and un-stressful. not at all like I was expecting. this is the first star in the rating. Second star - Missed. Setup ease stopped there. The cube didn't print immediately, in fact it sat for a good 10 minutes doing nothing, so i reset the machine (the old switch off and switch back on routine) and knowing what I know, went ahead and set up the WIFI and updated the firmware when asked. I downloaded the software - orca flashforge, and tried to connect to the printer. this took a few tries but eventually connected. the software is a fork of Bambu Labs' Bambu studio and the workflow is almost identical. The main issue i faced was the sporadic way the printer reported itself as online to the software. sometimes i had to power cycle, sometimes just search for the printer in the add devices menu. This worked most times but is a little annoying. So -1 star for a process and facility that may trip up unsuspecting users with ease of use expectations. Star 3: Speed. This printer is FAST! deserving of the capitals. on a stock print of a part we have the Carbon x1 (same settings) reported that the print would take 19 mins. the AD5M Pro, reported 14.5 mins. print times were spot on for the time to job completion, that's a saving of 4.5m on a stock print profile. I'm very very impressed. Star 4: Print Quality. Even though its fast, the printer lays down layers with quite surprising quality. I was blown away by the included dodecahedron model. all corners and slopes. printed perfectly. In the 6 or so models I've printed from our own parts library, i.e. had little to no need of rework and post processing has been an absolute breeze. Star 5: General build quality. I had a good look all over the machine and was very impressed with how sturdy the enclosure is. the aluminium frame is light and when printing it holds itself firm, minimal vibration and shaking from a well put together chassis. The thought that went into the quick change nozzle is also a bonus. My only gripe about the system isn't about the machine, its the slicer software. there are status windows in bambu studio that are not available in orca-flashforge. these are mainly for control and visibility of the print. like displaying the current layer number, being able to jog the head and the bed on the x/y and Z axis etc etc. maintenance like greasing the lead screws would be a lot easier if the control was available. so all in all a great printer only let down minorly by the included software. Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro: A 3D Printing Powerhouse
I was initially sceptical of the claims when I first heard about the Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro. However, after using it for several months, I’m completely sold. This 3D printer is a game-changer, offering a level of speed, precision, and ease of use that I haven’t seen before. Print Quality: The print quality is simply stunning. The Adventurer 5M Pro produces highly detailed prints with smooth surfaces and sharp edges. I've been particularly impressed with the ability to print intricate details, such as fine textures and small features. The printer handles a variety of filament types with ease, from PLA to ABS but so far I have had the best results with PETG which has given me the cleanest prints which are strong and have had very little stringing. Print Speed: This printer is incredibly fast. It can print large models in a fraction of the time it takes on my older 3D printers and better still there is no compromise on quality, either. The prints are still accurate and detailed, even at the highest speeds. I have made some alignment tools and they are so accurate I am using them to align my laser and get brilliant results. Ease of Use: The Adventurer 5M Pro is incredibly user-friendly. The intuitive touchscreen interface makes it easy to set up and operate. The automated calibration system is a lifesaver, ensuring accurate prints every time. Build Quality: The build quality is excellent. The printer is sturdy and well-constructed, and it feels like it will last for years to come. I have not had to use any glue on the build plate and my prints don't lift and I have not had an issue with adhesion. I can print without supports on prints that just wouldn't work on my other printers and some of the overhangs I have printed without supports have left me speechless. There is an issue in that the top door is a little bit scratched from the energy chain at the top but its the only fault in an otherwise perfect build. I love the fact that cleaning out the inside is so simple because the internal base is completely flat so I can just brush out any filament without it getting caught on things. The doors are plastic and not glass but at this price, I couldn't expect glass. The machine is quite and the software is easy to use. Overall: If you're looking for a 3D printer that can handle a wide range of projects, from small prototypes to large-scale models, the Flashforge Adventurer 5M Pro is an excellent choice. With a nozzle upgrade, I will be able to print with Carbon Fibre and because it's fast, accurate, and easy to use I will be using it for a long time to come. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to take their 3D printing to the next level.

bricked after a month
it worked for a few weeks then the temperature sensor on the base plate failed and won't print. no help at all from the manufacturer and past the 30 days return policy from amazon :(

Great Printer but improvements still needed!
First of all i do really like this printer but some improvements are needed I will get the bad points out the way first then the rest will be good! The touchscreen is the main problem to me, very unresponsive and feels cheap to touch!! The interface is good but have to press so many times to get a function to operate! Noise levels to me are still too high!! maybe they could do a deal with Noctua to get silent fans!!!! The printer itself prints amazingly it is fast and furious lol! A right speed freak!! The print quality is very good at 300mms and excellent at 200mms which is what i print at. Great for ABS, tTPU, PLA, PETG and the rest not had problems with any i have tried yet. I did block my 0.4mm nozzle but my mistake as left all doors closed whilst printing PLA and this must have caused heat creep and blocked the nozzle, Not a problem eay to resolve and also comes with a 0.6mm nozzle as well which is what i mainly use!!! I have used FlashPrint in the past so did know my way around it and for me it works good but for people who are used to prusa slicer it may not be perfect! This is an amazing printer for the price with just that few mentioned niggles. Would i recommend this yes i would!

Amazing Buy Flashforge Adventurer 5m Pro
If you are looking for a beginner 3D printer this is absolutely the way forward. Straight out of the box easy to setup, connects to the WiFi first time (to my mobile data) the camera and functions were easy to setup (just on the top inside right removed a little red tab (it covers the camera). Adhesive glue works perfectly. The size is just like a big cube but would fit perfectly into spaces. The noise level is pretty quiet not noisy loud. Levelling is pretty straightforward. I use STL files from thingiverse using orca flashforge slicing software and drag and drop the file in to orca slicer and the ideas are endless. Very happy with the first official figure print of Mewtwo using rainbow silk filament also from Amazon.

Excellent 3D printer
This is the second 3D printer I have owned, the first was an Ender 3, bought about 6+ years ago. The Flashforge printer is light years ahead in performance and printing ability. Much faster, much better quality, easy to use, comes in its own fan cooled enclosure, self levelling, filament run out detection, preassembled - ready to use out of the box. Better in every way. I haven’t even used all the features, such as network adapter, and camera.

Really good printer for what it's worth.
Ordered on November 4th and arrived on December 23rd to Singapore. The printer is fast, got it for quite a good price in comparison to other places I find. Pros - Super Fast - Easy Calibration - Enclosure is a important for certain filaments like ABS - Build feels solid - Door is acrylic and not tempered glass ( good for me because I know I wont break the door by accident) - Extra nozzle with harder tip is provided - The 0.25kg PLA filament provided is really pretty Cons - The delivery I got for this printer took me more than a month to SIngapore with lots of CS chat and phone calls. - Printer is loud but can be tuned to go slower and quieter.. maybe like 500mm/s acceleration - Filament can't retract. If you are changing from ABS filament to PLA, please purge with high temps even when loading in the PLA filament - Inconvenient to cut the filament from tool head but you can DIY yourself a filament cutter - Heard the slicers are crap and it's recommended to use the original Orca Slicer which I am. Will recommend - Loading the filament through the tube is at the back.. if you keep your printer in the shelf, it's troublesome - Filament holder is also at the back.. find a filament spool holder that lets you use it on the side - I can't figure out where the belt tensioning is - I can't do auto bed levelling at every print even by changing the Machine Start G-Code unless using a modified klipper which I don't want to as the printer is stable as it is

À recommander +++

Ready to print out of the box
This is a great printer and is basically ready to print out of the box. Run the auto-level and load the filament and youre printing. I don't like the back mounted filament spool but that has been my only complaint.

Top Drucker 👍
