Cosmic Byte Equinox Phobos 7.1 RGB Dual Input USB/3.5mm Gaming Headset with Detachable Microphone for PC, Laptop, Mobiles, PS4, PS5, Xbox with Carrying case and Software (Black)

I have been using this headset for almost 2 years now I love the sound quality and the microphone is amazing the headset it self is really comfortable only three things I did not like was the fact that I could not use the Cosmicbyte software for the headset so the entire time the microphone could barely pick up what I was saying until I had to speak loudly into the mic for the headset to register and the synthetic leather completely fell off after a year of use other than these two I do not have any complaints Amazing product.

Edit after replacement unit came : In comparison to cosmic byte equinox Europa 7.1 the 7.1 lacks as the software is just bad while the hardware of headphones is pretty good Quality of drivers: 8.5/10( as single driver in each ear cup where as u get dual drivers in each ear cup in Europa 7.1 at almost 1k lower price ) Design & build : 10/10 Software : 3/10 ( the software makes this amazing headphones a decent enough headphones) Mic : 9/10 Inline control : 6/10 (the inline control buttons don't have rgb or any light on them so can't tell if 7.1 is on or not without pressing it ) I don't why cosmic byte did this but they have so good software on previous headphones but this software doesn't have xear7.1 or you can't even adjust RGB with software . Trust me if software was even as the same as previous Europa 7.1 this headphone will literally beat any headphone under 5k segment but the software really brings it down Another con is that you can't switch to studio 24bit quality in Windows sound settings as the quality and sample rate is locked at 16 bit The replacement unit is way better as no buzzing noise when headphones don't have anything playing and before on my previous unit the 7.1 was just so bad it used to distort everything but on this it works decent Idk what's wrong is it just my unit or people haven't noticed it but when on high volume and there's nothing playing then a buzzing noise can be heard clearly (buzzing feels like there's a mosquito in my headphones) I hope the replacement unit works better and I don't face any issue

Been using this headset for past 2 years with no problem, the sound is great, the surround sound is great, spotting enemies is easy, directional sound is great, music and movie experience is great. The only issue with this is that the top layer of the ear cups is shedding, I have not found a way to find replacement earcups from CB or 3rd party, but apart from that its a great product.

This is my replacement product and now I have faced that hissing or electric sound in left part of this headphone.. this only happens when you connect to USB + (double click breathing lighting) like mosquitoes.. very annoying.. this same issue I have face in my first product then I replaced.. now I got that faulty device again..😭 so bad.. I think it's a problem with this headphone of cosmic byte.. Definitely going to return this now.. after some more test for more review. I am saying truth don't take me wrong.. please cosmic byte it's a humble request pls fix this issue in your upcoming phobos headphones.. because it's totally a manufacturing defect. Other then this.. mic noise cancellation is not upto the mark.. and mic quality again not so good.. going to return this now.. no more phobos..pls..🙏 And one more important point.. that it's shown on the page that it will be sold by electronic bazar store but now showing on product detail that it is sold by "Kay Kay Overseas Corporation" what is that..? And for my both the orders i did not recieved Amazon packaging.. only a headphone box which is only what I have recieved from the seller.. no cardboard box.. nothing.. and with tha box there is one envelope kind of thing..in which it is written that.. this is to protect environment.. this is environmental friendly move to not give and outer box.. ! Really? What about our product protection? This is all what's my review is. Pls fix this issue cosmic byte.. rest sound is good. And mic is average. Continuous electric sound on left side.. like mosquitoes on breathing RGB. Pls fix this. Returning this product.. want my refund. That's it.

1). Headphones connects & can listen to sounds - it is good. 2). Downloaded software from their official website & installed, but headphones does not get detected no matter what. 3). Tried all the option that they had provided - cleaned registry for previous USB based headphones data & restarted as many times as required - but no luck. 4). WORSE part was contacting Cosmic Byte customer care - they kept on giving alternate number to contact, was asked to call there & had to explain everything from scratch - after 8 calls OR so, they gave another mail id to contact & explain the same. 5). They replied to mail back by saying that your account is created & gave link to Cosmic Byte products to purchase - Nothing related to resolving the issue. Note : I expected new headphones to start working without much hassle. Even my Laptop is fairly new - Hardly a month old, hence, there shouldn't be any problem. Don't waste money for 7.1 surround sound & pathetic customer care. Headphone build quality is good, sturdy, comfortable but as I've mentioned all the features does not work. Update : Amazon is also not supporting. They are scheduling return orders & at the time of pick up, they cancel, happened with me for 4 times. And still not returned, my money is stuck for more than 10 days. They are just keep on giving excuses & passing the time. They just want to frustrate the customer to such a degree that customer gives up & digests that his / her money is gone.
