I bought this with reservation due to other reviews, however this has been a great purchase! I remodeled my bathroom and thought this would be a good idea. It was very easy to hook up and set up with my Google home device. I hooked the Bluetooth speaker up via my phone and it sounds good! Yes you do have to reconnect the speaker everytime you use it but that takes a whopping 30 seconds! I love using my voice to turn it on and off and change colors. I am definitely happy and will buy more!

I can’t control the light through the SmartThings app except turning it on and off. It constantly disconnects every 5 seconds or so. I can’t even do a firmware update. It may be an IOS thing but the light does not work as advertised through the app. It won’t dim, change colors, or lighting hue, it just disconnects whenever I press a button in the app. It does work as a pure Bluetooth speaker even if nowhere in the instructions does it tell you that you have to turn it off and on 5-6 times to put it in discovery mode (found that out by accident). If you have a kid that likes flipping light switches, expect to re-pair every time they go on a flip switch rage because the light will reset and act like a totally new device. I do not recommend these lights unless it’s for a cheap standalone overhead Bluetooth speaker. I could see it as a single porch or bathroom speaker but that’s about it.

This is a difficult one to review. I will say ultimately the product as a Bluetooth speaker / light device is good. However, as described and sold on Amazon it did not work as expected. I was led to believe that I would be able to hook this up to Google home, and control it through that method using the Google home assistant, but that is not the case. All you can do is connect your cell phone or other Bluetooth enabled device to the speaker so if that's all you need this works great but if you're thinking about connecting it to the rest of your lights fans refrigerators and things have that nature it will not work. I also called the company and they told me that even the instructions that are included with it are incorrect, they were apologetic, but that was it they didn't offer me anything other than understanding of my return of the product. However, I did not return the product even though I wanted to, because it was already installed and it wasn't worth the effort to remove it box it drive to the store, and send it back so I just absorb the cost as a lesson learned.

I was initially impressed with the Juno Bluetooth speaker light. Setup was smooth, and the combination of lighting and sound felt like a smart upgrade. The speaker still works well and delivers decent audio for casual listening. However, the experience quickly soured when I tried to change the light color. Despite multiple attempts, I couldn’t get it to connect to the app or respond to color changes. The light remains stuck on the default white, which defeats half the purpose of buying a color-changing fixture. No troubleshooting instructions were included, and I couldn’t find a reliable fix online. If you’re only looking for a Bluetooth speaker with basic lighting, it might still be worth it. But if color control is important to you, this product may disappoint.

Don't buy it if you need a speaker. We purchased this for our remodeled shower, to add light and music but wouldn't be connected directly to a wall switch. We planned to use our Google Assistant to turn it on and off. Juno is a good brand for lighting, but they are NOT good on speakers. The speaker part of this item constantly disconnects itself from the Google assistant/nearby Google Mini. The way to reconnect is to turn off the power and turn it back on. For us, that means going to the breaker box. It's too much of a pain to do. Somehow the light remains connected to Wi-Fi and it able to be controlled easily by voice. When we got it to work it was amazing. Unfortunately that just isn't consistent. Super disappointed with this purchase

We previously had a GE speaker light and this one sounds much better! It's great for music or podcasts in the shower. The zigbee light works great as well and connects with home assistant. I do recommend getting a zigbee smart switch (inovelli Blue dimmer is great) and using it in smart bulb mode. Also, you will need a zigbee router very near by (if you don't have a zigbee switch) or it won't pair.

Next to worthless. Nearly impossible to program, won't connect with my iPhone and my iPhone is a new iPhone it's been updated and everything. half the time one of the lights will come on the other one won't. Who knows which it'll be each time . Get them set up and then the app won't work and won't let you control anything at the most you can play a song or something through the speaker before it disconnects and goes haywire and has to be reset again. the speaker quality is not great..
