Great updates to an awesome helmet style.
I have used the original design of this helmet all year round for 3 years. The first one was and is still a great option. However, the new updates include speaker pockets for headphones or communication systems which the old design didn't have. Also the closeable front face guard vent is a great new feature I always wished the old version had. The one big change for this model is the inability to convert into the half helmet mode as the old model did. However, after using the old style for 3 years I never converted it to a half helmet I just never felt the need to remove more than the face guard. The new helmet is a tad lighter but feels a lot lighter in feel especially when wearing it. It is super comfortable and with the larger release buttons on the sides to remove the face guard makes this helmet an awesome and worthy contender for anyone looking for a helmet they can wear year round and have some versatile convertability for about $100 to $150 bucks less than the leading full face or modular flip up helmets. This is a nice quality and more affordable option. I loved the original so much I knew I had to check out the 2.0 model. I personally put the clear shield on because I wear prescription glasses with lenses that darken with exposure to uv light. (which is another selling point to this helmet that it comes with both a dark and clear shield). So for me this helmet is a 10 out of 10 for style, comfortable, and versatility.

Fits a little smaller than the Exo 1 but still works well.
I have a big head. I got an XL because I wore an XL in the Covert 1. The face is definitely closer and the helmet fits tighter but I’ve gotten used to it. Same noise level as the 1 but I wear ear bud and don’t notice it. Visors are great. I recently purchased the ruby tinted visor. Looks awesome. Air flow is good and keeps the fogging down. I do miss the tabs on both sides for the visor.

It’s probably one you’d want to try before you buy
I can’t tell if I got the wrong size or not but it’s extremely tight to get over my head (like my ears hurt and normally I have to adjust it to get them unfolded after I get it on.. no I don’t have big ears..), but wants to slide backwards in heavy wind due to lack of cheek padding in the front and if you have a Sena your mic will be inside your mouth when this happens. It is a good looking helmet but the comfort isn’t there so I went back to wearing my old helmet within a few months
