It's rare to get a product that exceeds expectations but the Ergotron LX does it easily. A bit pricey but you get your money's worth. Quality build with sturdy well machined parts and a breeze to put together. Pros: Arrived professionally packaged Easy assembly and mounting to desktop Sturdy mounts and arms Screws,wrenches,screwdrivers and misc well packaged The arms provide a nice way to hide cables Assembled and in use in 1/2 hour No adjustments were necessary in my case (24" monitor) Cons: No instruction manual. Easily found on Ergotron's website for download (7 pages). Good to have if you need to adjust the up/down tension which wasn't needed in my case. I highly recommend the extra arm extension. The range of left and right folding motion doubles not to mention the extra extension distance.

Excellent stand, very dry durable and well built. Super easy installation no screws needed. Highly recommend!

It Holds Up The Monitor Well and adjusts semi well but the instructions weren’t very helpful so we just spent half the time trying to calibrate it to hold the monitor without sagging. It is very sturdy when finally calibrated though. The cable management system could be better though as the top one requires zip ties to actually keep it from sagging so eventually i just gave up trying to cable manage it.

I accept many people would baulk at the idea of paying out a large additional cost to mount a Computer Monitor. The positive view is it gives you the ultimate viewing angle for your screen. No more craning your neck to see the screen; you can move it to any comfortable position, even have a TV watching position as well as the more formal computer desk position, obviously it depends on the location; etc. The technicalities of the arm, it is well made, finished in polished aluminium (so looks good!) including all the fixing mounts, whether you screw it to the wall or just use the bracket to mount it to a desk. I use a 24" Acer LED/LCD Monitor and it works really well. where as a monitor placed on its inclusive foot only offers a 90 degree view, but this is very inflexible as you have to position yourself to the monitor. Using an arm you chose how and where you sit,whilst moving the monitor to where you can comfortably view it. Finally I could see because of the manufacturing quality that it should last a lifetime, so over the life of a few monitors the relative cost comes down to become a good investment.

This is expensive but very good quality, well designed, packaged, clear instructions, worth the extra pennies. It comes complete with desk clamp and extended arm. It arrived a day early, so two day rather than three advised by Amazon which was great. Just as a note it’d Vesa compatible 75mm and 100mm, don’t think that’s in the description.

I angst for days deciding what type of desk mount to purchase for my new PC - I was looking for smart, slick but most of all, maneuverability in a desk mount - I got all of that with this product. It arrived two days after placing my order and I was delighted with the product quality and the 'look'. Clear clean lines, easy to mount on the desk. Perhaps my only moan is that it would have been good to feed the cables inside the mount instead of them being clipped on the underside. Value for money, a solid product and does the job and looks good - don't look anywhere else - this is your answer!

This has made my set up much more user friendly, don't know why I didn't get something like this before. After building my own desktop I decided to add this as a finishing touch. I have mounted a 27 inch monitor to it. I had to use some washers to get it attached tightly but I believe that was an issue with my monitor having short vesa threads. Now I can sit on the couch and just swing the monitor around to watch something, I can bring it close to me for drawing, move it out of the way for easy access to the back of the pc. It looks really good and gives more room on my desk. Set up took a little tweaking with the strength of the spring loading using the allan key but then I was all set. I have it mounted to a 8mm glass table with no issue. No regular monitor stand comes close to the ergonomics of this device, recommended.

Sprawny, porządnie wykonany uchwyt, po wielu miesiącach użytkowania działa nadal równie skutecznie z monitorem 38 cali. Jedyna wada - jeżeli do monitora idzie dużo grubych przewodów (2x HDM, DP, USB do huba, zasilanie) to nie mieszczą się do kanału w ramieniu uchwytu (trzeba je podpiąć na paskach z rzepami) albo mieszczą się, ale blokują się w tym kanale przy monitora w znacząco rożne pozycje (np. praca raz z jednej strony biurka, raz z drugiej - bez przenoszenia uchwytu względem blatu))

I really like that one is able to elevate and tit at any angle a computer monitor, which is a huge bonus when doing art on a computer, and was very easy to install the monitor onto the Ergotron. Also, the item is rather robust and well made, and would highly recommend it to anyone doing graphic art or illustration. One of my computer monitors does not have VESA mounts so make sure to check the back of your monitor prior to order, but all in all a very good product.

I received this product the next day. On opening the box you could tell the product was well made and I believe will last a long time. My monitor was near the maximum weight that the arm could support (25 inch HP monitor) and the arm required some adjustment in order to hold it in a firm and steady position and not fall to the desk. I found it easy to put the arm together. The directions are not very easy to understand especially where adjustment is required to make the arm stable and hold the weight of the monitor. The arm provides installation via a grommet or desk clamp. I am using the desk clamp, which is well made and sturdy (the desk is about 3/4 inch thick). The installation took no more than 15 minutes. The arm comes in three pieces I attached the first piece contain the clamp to the desk and inserted the second piece to the first piece. I attached the monitor to the third piece and then mounted the third piece onto the second piece. This process is contrary to the directions but it seemed the most efficient for me. It has only been a few days that I have used the product but so far I am very happy with the purchase. The arm is fully adjustable...it provides me with more desk space as my monitor is raised above the desk. I can also move the monitor away from the desk when not in use.

Io ne ho comprato uno "usato come nuovo" ed è esattamente come descritto, tanto che le buste con la minuteria e le chiavi a brugola erano ancora sigillate, solo la scatola mostrave segni di essere stata aperta. È un supporto per monitor molto valido, robusto e stabilissimo. Il morsetto in acciaio è molto robusto e sicuramente durerà una vita, così come sembra molto solido il braccio. Gli snodi sono stabili con molle di grandi dimensioni e possono essere bloccat i con dei grani filettati, se dovesse essere necessario bloccarli in modo che non possano ruotare. Le istruzioni di montaggio sono piuttosto scarne (qualche foglio con cucitura a punto metallico non può essere definito propriamente un manuale) e questo rende il montaggio un po' macchinoso, dovendo procedere a tentativi, quindi meglio cercare il video sul sito del produttore. Si adatta a qualsiasi scrivania, visto che l'apertura massima del morsetto arriva a 60 mm. A questo proposito voglio segnalare che è opportuno dotarsi di un paio di cuscinetti in gomma o feltro da frapporre tra il morsetto e la scrivania per non rischiare di rovinarla; visto il prezzo mi sarei aspettato che le superfici di contatto fossero gommate, ma non lo sono e soprattutto la piastra inferiore in metallo nudo è pericolosa per le superifici. La mobilità del braccio è eccezionale, avendo diversi gradi di libertà, ma dà il massimo di flessibilità solo se la scrivania non è addossata al muro, altrimenti si perde la possibilità di spingere indietro il braccio e si è costretti a montare il supporto in maniera decentrata, come è successo a me. Si tratta comunque di un problema minore, ma che costringe comunque a un compromesso. Io l'ho usato per una tavoletta grafica Huion 24 pro, in modo da poterla usre come monitor quando non devo disegnare, mentre durante il disegno la posso avvicinare, spingere in basso e mettere quasi in orizzontale sul piano della scrivania. In conclusione un ottimo acquisto, un supporto forse un po' costoso, ma sicuramente ben costruito e che mi dà quello che il supporto originale Huion non dà, la possibilità di mettere la tavoletta in verticale a una altezza adatta per essere utilizzata come monitor e una grande libertà di moviemento.

Una maravilla, de las mejores compras que he hecho para mí setup. El montaje es muy sencillo y claro en las instrucciones. Queda genial y puedes recoger los cables para que no se vean. Es un lujo poder acomodar en cada momento el monitor a tus necesidad.
