First impression was that this hose is really heavy duty but lightweight. And while un-rolling it (after I took the photos), my first impression was right. Super well-made, with a thick hose wall but lightweight enough to carry around the yard. Would probably stand up to freezing temps too. It is rigid and does not kink easily like our other hoses which drives me mad! We needed a long hose to reach our lemon and lime trees this Spring/Summer, without having to put a couple hoses together, and the Creston Garden Hose is perfect for that and all of our other landscaping/gardening needs since it will reach everywhere. I haven't put the nozzle on yet but it looks easy and there is a diagram (if needed) right here at this Creston Hose page. I LOVE that the nozzles and connectors are heavy duty plastic; therefore will not rust easily as we leave our hoses out year round. Come on Summer! I want to see my garden grow and use the heck outta my new hose! If I have any issues after using it more than I am now in the Winter, I will update my review but so far this is the best quality hose I have and the price was good for such a long, tough hose.

This would be a great hose except for the fact the connectors are not well designed and cheap.

First I want to add a disclaimer that I am in no way, shape, or form what anyone would call a handyman (or handywoman), and I did not expect to have to piece this together myself. That said, the instructions weren’t clear enough for me, and I literally spent over 30 minutes trying to put this thing together. Once I figured it out, I facepalmed at myself. It wasn’t hard whatsoever. If you look at the first picture, I kept trying to put those ends together, and for the life of me I couldn’t get it to work! (Spoiler alert: it’s because they don’t go together. I needed to flip one of the pieces.) For everyone’s sanity, I attached the second and third picture so you can see how it’s supposed to fit. The two ends literally just slide onto the hose, and then the remaining two pieces just snap into those. Easy peezy! Once I got it all hooked up, it was an okay hose. It’s light but feels fairly strong. For 50 feet at only $20, I think it’s a decent buy.

There were a few things I really liked about this hose, and several that I did not. Pros - I like how easy it was to remove this hose from the faucet. There is a little release valve on the nozzle that made it really easy. The hose also seems to be very heavy duty. Cons - The instructions that come with this do not which parts need to attach to which. Its not labeled even though the ends are different colored. Once I attached it to my faucet, the ends kept popping off. I'm going to chalk this up to operator error for the time being. I made some adjustments and it kept happening, I got frustrated and gave up. The ends seemed to come off with any type of water pressure. Overall, it there appears to be some potential, I'll have to see how it works in the spring when I do the majority of my watering.

The hose seems to be of good quality and I was able to install the ends so it will easily go on and off the hose bib, but I can't get the nozzle to work. There were no instructions included and nothing on the website. I emailed the company via their website and I have gotten no response. I just want to know how to make the nozzle work.

Great hose for the price! I have never had to put together a garden hose, but it was pretty easy to assemble. Living in Hawaii, I like that the connector parts are plastic so they won’t get as hot as metal from sitting out in the sun, it won’t rust to the spout, and the UV protection for the hose is essential! It was difficult to figure out if the nozzle was open or closed just by looking at it and turning it since there is no open/close visual or arrows, so I had to run water through it real quick first to make sure it was in the correct position before I went to use it outside. I also like how the nozzle/connectors pop on and off easily from the spout. Perfect garden hose for warm tropical climates!

YOU CAN'T CONNECT IT TO A SPRINKLER OR ANY OTHER ATTACHMENTS! Hose comes disassembled; you literally have to build it yourself. It looked like a pain so I didn't bother with it until after my return window had already closed. The picture shows the only info mentioning that you have to build it yourself (printed on the inside of the packaging). Learn from my mistake and buy something else. Personally, I think these other reviews are paid off. (Who rates it five stars because it's blue and doesn't mention the fact that it has to built?)

There are things I like about this hose and things I dislike. Let me start out with the good. I purchased the 50' hose and I like that it has nylon web for reinforcement and that it is lightweight. The hose is only 1/2" hose (I would have preferred at least 5/8" or 3/4"). I'm giving this hose from Creston 4 stars for reinforcement and lightweight. Now for what I didn't like or things that could improve the hose. If you want to use this hose to add to another hose for watering the flower garden, you can only do that if you attach the Creston hose at the end of all the hoses. I don't like that it only has a nozzle end on it and you have to use what comes with the hose because it fits on like an air hose on a compressor and if that ever cracks or breaks the hose is useless. I live in the Midwest and only have one outdoor faucet at my house because of the cold winters here. I need to attach multiple hoses together to water front and back yards. You can't attach a sprinkler or attach it to a soaked hose because you can only use the nozzle that comes with it. I will use this hose more and make sure it doesn't start leaking at the attachments and if the nozzle holds up. If I develop any problems, I will edit my review and add more pictures
