Great tungsten balanced film
800iso tungsten balanced film that gives a funky blue "blade runner" look if shot in daylight. I really like the look you can get with this film. Make sure you don't underexpose it, slightly over gives the best results.

Great film
This stuff is amazing, in the past, if I wanted to do handheld photography at night I either had to use Black and white film or use daylight fast colour film, which was very grainy and the colour balance was wrong and correcting it made it look even worse. There's not much R&D that goes into film these days except in the world of Cinema where Kodak is still trying to improve its emulsions and while Vision3 goes all the way back to 2007 it's a significant improvement over older films which most still films are based on combined with being the correct colour balance for night time photography means I can now do colour photos at night on film.

The best film to give a cinematic feel to your images
For those of you who haven't heard of this company yet, CineStill is bringing to photographers the opportunity to shot with motion picture film that was used in cinema industry. Basically they've modified the film's emulsion so it can be developed in C-41. The main advantage is to give the famous movie look to your photography and also shoot in low light as this film is rated at 800 ISO and can be pushed up to to stops. I was really excited when I received my first roll of CineStill 800 few weeks ago but didn't have the opportunity to shoot it until recently. On my way to an abandoned asylum, I loaded the film with the idea of shooting some indoors. I was really enthusiast by the idea of exploring this place but I had a double disappointment when I got there : 1. After a quick walk around the buildings I realised that everything was closed and it was impossible to access the insides. 2. My camera was already loaded with the roll of CineStill so there was no way for me to change film. That's why I ended up shooting it in day light even if that's not what it's meant to be. it's very saturated in the blues and reds but the colour cast changes a lot from one frame to another. After some research I found out that if used in day light, you should use a 85B Filter and shoot it at 500 ISO for better results. I also decided to convert the two last pictures in black and white because there was a ugly green colour cast on both of them. They turned out pretty well in my opinion even if that's not what this film is made for. Even if the outdoors of this asylum were really inspiring, I was wise enough (for once!) to save few frames and shot them at night. I love the ambiance when shot by night and how the colours are combined with each others. The highlights are well maintained while we still have a bit of details in the shadows. This film is perfect if you want to give an Holywood style to your images

Fantastic colours and halation.
Cinestill consistently create beautiful and unique film stocks. 800T is my personal favourite, having lovely green tones, very pleasing grain, and strikingly unique halation. My only gripe is that it's really quite expensive, though that does make sense, considering the rarity of quality film these days.

Acquistato come regalo per una ragazza da poco appassionata alla fotografia istantanea e che dire la fama di questo rullino pone un aspettativa alta e si vede nei risultati ottenuti

I’ve been using CineStill 800Tungsten for a while now, and it’s become my go-to film for shooting in low-light or nighttime conditions. The results are stunning, especially when it comes to capturing mood and color in dark settings. Pros: Excellent for Night Photography: This film really shines when you’re shooting in low light. The high ISO of 800 is perfect for night scenes, and it captures incredible detail even in dimly lit environments. The grain is minimal for such a high-speed film, which is a huge plus. Gorgeous Colors: I love the way this film handles colors at night. The tones are rich and cinematic, giving a unique and beautiful look to night shots. Neon lights and street lamps look especially great, and the colors pop in a way that digital cameras just can’t replicate. Tungsten Balance: The tungsten balance is perfect for indoor and artificial lighting, making skin tones look natural and colors balanced when shooting under certain types of lighting at night. Cons: Daytime Use: If you’re shooting in daylight, be prepared for a noticeable blue tint to your images. It’s designed for tungsten light, so it’s not ideal for daylight without a proper filter. You can still get some cool results in the day, but they’ll definitely have that strong blue cast unless you correct it. Pricey: It’s not the cheapest film out there, but for night or low-light photography, it’s definitely worth the cost. You’re paying for a very specific use, and it delivers on that. Final Thoughts: CineStill 800Tungsten is an incredible choice if you love shooting in the dark or under artificial light. The colors are vibrant, and the overall mood of the photos is unbeatable. Just keep in mind that it’s not great for daytime shooting without filters. If you’re looking for that classic cinematic night-time feel, though, this film is a must-have!

The highlight color developes a special red especial at night. Even as daylight it's still pretty good.
