Colorful, well-made, and an easy but brain powering activity. This was a Christmas gift for a 16mo old and they LOVE it! It’s easy for them to play by themselves but entertaining/challenging enough that it’s an easy 10+ minute activity every time. The back easily comes off for storage of the pins. The back snaps on fairly good so you could throw this in a toy bag to take in the car without losing any pieces. So far it’s been super easy to clean and wipe down. Doesn’t require any assembly or batteries! It also makes ZERO NOISE! Would absolutely buy / gift to babies or 1 year of age.

Such a fun and engaging toy for a range of ages. We love everything Learning Resources. My 1 year old has been staying busy with this for months. I trust that they are a good size and she also likes to chew on them. It’s durable and cute and even though it’s plastic, it holds up nicely.

Love this toy. Helpful with plenty of things like colors numbers and motor skills plus little tots just love pulling and putting in things of any sorts this just makes it safer and more colorful and enjoyable I think for them. Only thing I wish is maybe it'd be easier to pull out while the hedge hog stayed in place instead of lifting up the entire thing when learning to pull out a spike but I mean that's a trivial thing overall for the price and adorable look and quality being fantastic and the purpose of the toy overall...it kinda does meet all expectations in the end so it's more like a 4.5 stars for me. Portability and storage inside the animal so you don't hace a mess of spikes everywhere or lose them. Easy to use and handle. Not made cheaply either shockingly. No loud obnoxious noise or annoying sounds from this toy either! Always a plus. Little man loves it. Definitely would say I recommend to other mothers and customers looking into making the purchase.

My son loved this toy and for us parents its perfect to store after ! Just pop the top body of the hedgehog and it has a storage in there ! (To help them store their toys as well!)

This is a great gift for a 2-year-old she loves it doesn't want to put it down she carries it around everywhere takes the things out and put them back in once you figure out which way they go she's busy busy all day

A great buy my son loves it

Lovely bright toy that the kids love to sit and play with. Fabulous for hand eye coordination! Only downside, the spikes are quite soft plastic so easily ruined by toddlers using them whilst teething.

I bought this for baby grandson when he was 10 months old. He could just about place one of the spikes. Four months on he still loves it. He has not got the concentration to fit all of the spikes but it is good for hand eye coordination. We play feeding the hedgehog and the spikes have been used as pretend characters when he is playing with his vehicles. You can store the spikes in the toy so that the spikes don’t get lost. Nice quality plastic.

Surprisingly good value for money. Lots of skills to build and schemas to support in a single toy - fine motor, sorting/colour/pattern recognition, memory, counting, transporting. Makes for a perfect gift!
